Provo Canyon is a picturesque ravine featuring a cascading waterfall and historic railway. Additionally, it boasts a notable ski resort famous for its film festival. This canyon offers plenty of parks and opportunities for fishing along its scenic river. Nearby towns such as Midway, Orem, and Provo provide convenient access to the area. Squaw Peak road also leads off this route, offering an exciting off-road experience. However, busy crowds and ongoing construction are common due to the region's rapid growth.

The canyon is lovely year round, but wow, the explosion of colors this year is breathtaking. Take a picnic, go for a hike or just a quick drive. It's fabulous!

Sherry C — Google review

Provo Canyon is a beautiful scenic drive with a reservoir at the top. There is a smattering of communities along the sides. One of which is Vivienne Park. Fun area to visit and start tubing the Provo River. Train tracks, pond, park amenities, small community to the right, and scenic drive to the left when you get in there. Great memories of this beautiful area!

Stacie G — Google review

One of my all time favorite canyons. Provo Canyon has over 12 different parks that offer unique experiences, from the provo river, to well kept trails and beauty that’s incredible. There’s always a photo opportunity, so don’t forget the camera!

Ryan ( — Google review

My wife and I hiked up a kind of sketchy trail that was new at bridal veil falls. Normally, we love this hike. However, once we were up close to the top, we realized that this was a service trail (was not marked as such) and that we couldn't actually get down. We made it up, then went to go down one of the normal paths. They were covered in a sheet of ice that was impossible to cross without gear. To get down,, we had to climb down near the ice were there were a ton of roots to hold onto. Climbing down was dangerous, and we both slipped and slid about 10ft each. Would not recommend during the winter. We checked before we went, and it said it was good to go online. We were not happy.

Kent H — Google review

Super fun area. It's a great start to the Alpine Loop if you're looking for something fun to do. It has the best views and is honestly just pretty. There's a lot of walking on biking paths, and even a waterfall.

Evi F — Google review

Great canyon with a lot of parks and a great river to fish in. There are many other places that branch off of this canyon as well. Midway at one end and Orem and Provo at the other there are a lot of things nearby. Squaw Peak road comes off of this road as well and has one of the coolest off road adventures in the area. The only complaint I have is continuous construction and over crowding, but that is to be expected with the area ever growing.

Eric D — Google review

Provo canyon is beautiful year round and no fee to use the lower parks .

Jennifer B — Google review

It’s really pretty here and there are various parks you can go with family. It’s good for walks, bike rides, and other activities. The scenery is pretty. I think you should still be cautious though because I’ve heard of dangerous and creepy stuff happening here too. It’s probably not always safe to go alone.

Liahna — Google review

Absolutely beautiful ! It was on my bucket list in Arches National Park, the drive through the canyon is amazing

Sharon D — Google review

This canyon is 10 minutes away from my house, and I’ve going here since I was very little. I’ve gone on probably every hike here, it’s a very good canyon

Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks

The Sundance ZipTour offers an exhilarating experience with stunning mountain views. Visitors can control their speed while ziplining down the mountain, making it a unique and enjoyable adventure. While some may find the initial ascent intimidating, many are pleasantly surprised by how thrilling and enjoyable the experience is. The staff is praised for their great service, although there are suggestions for improvements such as providing more shade and water on hot days.

We were a group of 6 and there was two instructors. It was cold when we went however we had to shed off a layer so the gear we had to put on could fit comfortably. The total weight was roughly 10lbs or so if I remember correctly. We walked .5 mile around the skiers it was a quick and nice walk! We did a trial run on a little course they had before the actual one. The instructors were really nice and considerate! Giving us cool information about the area etc.The ride down was fun and the views were top notch.. Great experience!

Javier — Google review

A wonderful experience! Very organized, and the employees were great. Breathtaking views, and there was a break on the zip line so we could go faster, slower, and even stop on the lines! Definitely worth it!

MakandWalk — Google review

This was my first Zip Tour and I had so much fun! I honestly had such a great time. There had sections where you could reach speeds that were 65-70 miles an hour. If you run that fast you miss some of the scenery involved so it’s absolutely a pro/con situation…I found that a decent to fast cruising speed was fun, and you could find a nice way to look around and still get up to speed. If I could recommend, take plenty of sunblock. My wife burned really bad, she had plenty of sunblock on but she needed to re-apply on the top. (We did not have enough) we had a large group that took time getting through the line. An individual in our group got terrified in the test line but they pushed her through to the next. Which she froze on.The people are great and they eventually got her through. It was smooth sailing for us after though. We passed them at the top of the mountain and did great.

T.J M — Google review

Absolute blast! My wife was getting a little psyched out of how high it looks on the way up. But once she did it she said it wasn't that scary. She loved it! The staff was really great. The only complaints I have is they should provide water and more shade on the really hot days. The last chair lift ride up was super slow, it keeps slowing down and stopping. If it wasn't so hot that day it wouldn't have bothered us as much. We should have taken more water up.Overall it's a little expensive but something you will have fun with and always remember.

Clint W — Google review

We had an amazing time! I will admit it definitely takes a bit of strength to get all the way through the Zip. But absolutely worth it. The guides were extremely informative and understanding. I appreciated that when my friend’s gear didn’t sit on her properly they recommended she didn’t zip and were able to refund her. The .5 mile hike with 10lb of gear wasn't too bad!

Nyree T — Google review

One of the best zip line experiences I have had in my life. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the guides were great, and the exhilarating speed was amazing! This is a perfect spot for families to ride on since there are two zip lines next to each other the entire way through. Thank you so much Sundance Zip Tour!

Cooper R — Google review

My niece and I had an amazing experience here at Sundance Bearclaw Tour. All the staff were amazing!! This was both of our first zipling experience. We have got to say this is the best one in Utah. We want to come back and visit in Fall one time when it's not as hot. Keep up the great work. If you are hesitant on the price it was worth it to try at least once.

Marika L — Google review

This was a great experience, it was so incredibly beautiful and really fun to zip line down the mountain. I've never done a zip line where you can control your speed. I regret trying to go as fast as I can and wish I went slower and really took in the views.

Justin R — Google review

Views for days and so much fun!! I've gone multiple times and would go again with a willing victim

Kel H — Google review

The views you see during the tour are absolutely stunning. The ziplines themselves are really fun and you always feel really safe as you go throughout the course. It did feel like it went by pretty fast and it can get hot really fast. Overall, a big recommend for anyone in the Sundance area.

Aquarium

Nature & Parks

Non-profit organization

The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, located in Draper, is a top-rated attraction that boasts an impressive collection of over 2,400 marine animals including penguins, seahorses and stingrays. This airy facility offers a unique experience where visitors can witness the majestic sharks swimming overhead as they pass through the tunnel. The aquarium is known for its cleanliness and friendly staff.

Wonderful place. A bit on the pricy side but there is so much to do and some unique animals to see. Has a lot of ways kids can interact and an amazing park on the outside before going into the main exhibit. Great place for adults too. Has a tasty cafe! Buy tickets ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line.

Melissa K — Google review

Wonderful place and great atmosphere. The animals look gorgeous and well taken care of. And the staff is delightful. My husband and I love to visit this place out of all the places to see animals. So many wonderful learning opportunities for children and great ways to interact with them too. When our family came to town this is the first place that we brought them.would recommend to anyone!!

Hope D — Google review

I love this aquarium! I've been here multiple times, and they are always so kind, and helpful, and the animals are all always very obviously well cared for. Their enclosures are always clean, and the animals all look well fed and cared for. My most recent visit, I brought my friends with me, and one of them brought their service dog along. The staff were all kind and professional regarding my friend's service dog, and the place is friendly for disabled people. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't already visited!

Niki P — Google review

Real pricey, but worth it. Definitely buy tickets in advance if you know you want to go (on the website you can buy cheaper tickets up to 3 or 4 weeks in advance). But my kids had a great time looking at all the exhibits and playing on the playground outside. The jungle gym inside cost extra, but is worth the couple extra dollars. It’s super fun for kids and helps them get their energy out.

Miriah W — Google review

Absolutely wonderful aquarium! Great for children and adults. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here if you want to see all the exhibits. If you buy tickets in advance they cost about $17, for day-of they're $25, either way it's money well spent because this aquarium has so many amazing animals to look at.There's something for everyone here, sharks, fish, penguins, amphibians, reptile, birds and even some mammals like sloths and big cats. There's a few touch pools with rays, anemones and starfish. The aquarium is laid out really well and everything is presented really nicely. There's tons of information and educational things to read throughout the exhibits. My favorites were the saltwater tanks, so clean and beautiful, I could look at them for hours.

Willow — Google review

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium while visiting Salt Lake City and it was mostly cool. The actual aquarium is indoors and is the first building you come to after entering the park. Everything inside the aquarium building was awesome! They had it broken up into different countries and the enclosures and environments for the critters were really nice. Everything outside of the aquarium building was kind of lame. There was a 3D experience that I wanted to be over as soon as it started. It was really low res video and the audio quality was pretty terrible. There was a playground that I'm sure kids would love but was really small. And there was supposed to be a garden but it didn't really look like one. Definitely visit this aquarium if you are looking for animal/nature related things to do near Salt Lake City, but maybe skip the stuff outside of the aquarium building.

Rosie T — Google review

Its so super cool here! I really appreciate the animal information panel next to each exhibit, the fish usually have many on 1 panel so its fun to search for each like a little game. Also AMAZING fries, the food was AWESOME, id dare say they have "McDonald" level of sprite. Its a unique taste to get and they nailed it, how funny is that!

Indy I — Google review

This was our first time here. I loved the shark tank that you get to walk through and the penguins! So much to see. My tip is to get tickets in advance online and go in right when they open, to see some of the exhibits without crowds and lots of kids. It is easier to get pictures when there aren't as many people and when lots of kids come in it can get loud. There are lots of animals and exhibits to see and it is definitely worth the admission price.

Daisy G — Google review

I love this place! It is just expensive so the only way we have gone is with field trips, or as a guest with someone else. But there is a lot to see here, especially for the kids. The penguin exhibit is a favorite. Also the Otters. But they were a no show when we were there last time. I loved seeing the octopus. It was one of my favorite things. I love the sea horses too. I wish we could have seen the sloth too. But it was hiding. Lol. I'm so glad we were able to visit though!

Tamilisa M — Google review

AR experience was fun. My kids loved going around trying to spot the animals in the pictures next to each exhibit. Divided into different habitats, so good for kids to group and categorize. Good way for them to interact and explore.

Rebecca C — Google review

My family went to this place on Saturday, and we had a lot of fun. We went in the evening, so several of the animals were asleep, but we enjoyed the otters, some of the turtles, the stingrays, the seahorses, and several other creatures and animals that are there. Many of the employees were very knowledgeable about the animals and had a lot of great information to share with us.

Ellen J — Google review

My family and I have been to quite a few aquariums around the US at this point, and this one is by far one of the best! The habitats and tanks are all very clean and well maintained and the animals all seem happy. The layout is fantastic. Separated by region, it allows someone to really immerse themselves in the differences of species and habitats in each area. My favorite exhibit was the honey bees! So cool to see them in action up close. There are also several interactive exhibits for the whole family, and specifically my small child enjoyed each one. The virtual experience is definitely worth doing, even if there is a wait. Go for it!

Alexandra M — Google review

Great place! Lots of rooms to explore and a lot of creatures to learn about! From deep sea creatures and traditional aquarium animals, to a few birds, reptiles, insects, and other creatures! The kids had a blast and we will definitely be going back. <3

Euphony88 — Google review

Loveland living planet aquarium offers so many features that keep me and my child entertained for hours. One of our favorite parts of seeing the sharks in the large tank and being able to see them swim over our heads as we go through the tunnel. It is always very neat and clean and the staff is friendly! I do feel that a day pass is overpriced, but they do offer a student and military discounts. I also believe that seniors and children get discounts as well.

Ally H — Google review

I absolutely had a blast walking around the aquarium! It is full of incredible creatures that most people would never see if it wasn't here! Be sure to touch the aquatic life that is appoved to be touched! The aquarium also has animals from other regions of the world. Every animal has fun facts about them next to their habitat. Be sure to stop by and take a look spend some time and really take in the experience. I would recommend visiting the aquarium it really is a fantastic experience.

Steven R — Google review

This aquarium was gorgeous. It was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. There were lots of children there under 4 and all seemed to have a blast. My family of 3 had fun. My 2yr old did get a little overwhelmed at the amount of people who were there. We sat in the mothers room for a good 20 minutes to calm down. I would definitely go again!

Krystin M — Google review

We’ve been to quite a few aquariums in and out of state. This one by far is the cleanest and has the nicest setup. You start at one side and it wraps around and feeds into other zones. Our favorite is the jelly fish and shark tank. The kids love the sting ray petting tank and jungle room.We visited on ZaP day and it was so busy! Definitely a good deal and we love to support our locals zoo programs, but the aquarium is better on a slow day when you can actually walk through each exhibit. Other than that, 5/5 experience with staff and other patrons.

Clairise C — Google review

Worth it. This was a really unique experience for me because of the exhibits they had. They had so many plants and a dessert place. All these various environments you can find in various places in Utah. It is a bit pricey. Definitely check out the virtual reality experience. It was such a fun thing I’ve never done before. Very family friendly! Perfect for dates.

Evelina B — Google review

We went to a special they were hosting an event, and we have been here once before. It is an awesome visit! The variety of creatures is really great! They also have many different animals and are featured to match the region they are showing. One of my favorites is the Jouney to South America. They have so many awesome things to see, from plants, birds, reptiles, a few smaller mammals, and of course.. fish! The kids get to cross a fun bridge and enjoy the colors of the various animals presented. They have a small play area for you to rest and kids to be rambunctious! They also have featured events or camps as well as animal encounters you can pay to experience! There are options such as penguins or stingrays interactions. They also have a unique, deep sea creature looking metal structural piece outside with a fun story! Check it out!

Taylor F — Google review

It was super fun for a little date with my husband. We haven't got kids and it was even really fun for just the two of us. They don't have only fish, they've got lots of animals and creatures to see. My only qualm is that the food at the cafe was super expensive. We spent more on food for the two of us than we did for our tickets. Also, it's much cheaper if you buy your tickets online, and a week or more in advance.

Vanessa S — Google review

We have been to this aquarium a few times and it’s a good size. They have some pretty good displays. There are different areas inside for viewing different species, outside there is a playground for kids. There is an area that serves food and the choices were pretty good. I love going on days when it is not crowded so we can view as much without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. There is a touching zone where people can gently pet certain species. The overhead shark tank and penguin enclosure are our favorites. A lot of educational info around the area to learn more about what you are seeing. Definitely a fun place to go to.

Soren — Google review

Really great aquarium. Tickets are pretty expensive but worth it. It isn't just fish, there are also penguins and a rainforest area. You could spend two hours hanging out seeing everything. We bought tickets to the penguin encounter as well. It was super cool. We got to feed the penguins and get up close and personal to them. It's definitely a splurge, but I'd recommend it 100%.The pretzels at the cafe are to die for.

Joseph P — Google review

I always live coming here! There's always something fun to see and to do. This time the penguins were having the time of their lives swimming here and there, and giving you a happy high five through the glass! But watching the shark tank with the sharks, giant sting rays, and the giant turtles, who are as curious about you as you are about them, is also a major highlight! We also loved the sting ray petting station. Those guys LOVE cuddles!

Erin A — Google review

We LOVE this aquarium! It’s always clean, the staff are always so friendly and of course the animals are the cutest.TIP - purchase tickets online in advance for slightly cheaper prices and a quicker entrance!

Amanda J — Google review

Took my kids there. They are are 7 and 14, they were both very entertained and loved all the animals here. The big shark tank was really cool. Also the jellyfish were really interesting. Lots of opportunities for photos.

Austin H — Google review

It was a memorable visit to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium today. I thought it would be confined to a few fish and animals only but was surprised to see the range of members of the animal kingdom in this aquarium. It includes a range of fish, crocodiles, sharks, piranha, frogs, snakes, spiders, otters, Penguins and sloth and the list is much longer. One certainly needs a minimum of 3-4 hours to visit the entire exhibits. If you are on time you can enjoy a 4 D show which we couldn't see. It is advisable to book tickets online in advance for a better deal.Considering that one has to be in the premises for a very long time if possible they should give more varieties of food items taking divergent people into consideration and prices could also be a bit competitive.Overall a good experience.

Pradeep K — Google review

Had a fantastic time here with my wife on a Wednesday afternoon. The animals are of course gorgeous, and I love learning about underwater life, both in the oceans and rivers. Also, the food isn't half bad, and the maintenance is great. The staff do a really good job educating people on all the different parts of the aquarium you can visit. Also, it should be entirely accessible for children and the differently abled. I really recommend going here for date night or with family and friends!

Samuel D — Google review

My Wife and I went on a date here and we loved it! The aquarium is always fun and amazing to see. We enjoyed the EECO virtual experience and the attendants that were operating the attraction were super helpful when my headset wasn't calibrated right. Obviously, sometimes the animals won't be out or active when you visit. But they were very lively when we were there, and we couldn't be happier!

Kimberli P — Google review

I bought an annual membership this year, so I visit this aquarium several times a month, usually every Sunday. If you're also planning on coming on a Sunday, I highly recommend coming early, preferably within the first few hours of opening, in order to beat the nomal post-noon crowds. Many times when I leave after 1PM on a Sunday, the line for tickets is well out the door.As for the aquarium itself, it's smaller than many others I've visited but just the right size to go through it within a couple of hours. I very easily spend a couple hours every time I visit just watching the animals (although that may be because I am a huge animal nerd). It's no Atlanta Aquarium, but the shark tank tunnel is still quite lovely to sit in when it isn't super crowded, and I love the variety of displays and animals that they have. There's tons of parking and places to sit within the aquarium, and the food and drinks at the small cafe is nice enough for what it is. Overall, I will be renewing my annual membership every year moving forward, and I'm looking forward to the future expansions.

Michelle P — Google review

Pretty cool place. The exhibits were well done and informative. The staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. It was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday. I expected massive crowds but there was no wait to get in and it wasn’t horribly crowded.

Hannah T — Google review

My kids love this every time we go. The staff is always outstanding, and the tickets are reasonably priced. The only issue I have is the price of everything in the gift shop, I can buy something on approved credit LOL

My kids had a great time!! It is small but good for younger kids. Mine are 4. 7 and 9 and it was perfect for them. Littler kids can go on some slides with a grownup and that was awesome for my adventurous 4 year old who’s too short to go alone. The lazy River was nice and the bay was warm. We didn’t get food. I only gave it 4 stars because it is small and pricey for paying only half a day. But we were on vacation and wanted to do something that was open on Sunday and this turned out to be great.

Amy H — Google review

Radical, bodacious, and dare I say a cowabunga time! Really fun water park tucked away in Draper. For sure only open during the summertime. We went during a private event and it was busy. Plan ahead for peak times and hot days. The water guns around the park are genius. Of course you got to get dunked by the huge bucket!

Wade B — Google review

We visited Utah and went to Cowabunga Bay for our nephews 5th birthday party! We all had a fun time and got drenched with water!😂We have all older kiddos and everyone including my husband and I had so much fun cooling off on the slides and lazy River! We’d definitely come back when visiting Utah.🎉💦

Maria L — Google review

Fun water slides but it is VERY PACKED during the weekend. The entire lazy river is occupied by kids and families. The size of the park is way smaller than I expected with only a couple of slides to go to. You can ride all slides definitely within half a day.I wouldn’t recommend those who are looking for too much excitement as I would describe the slides here are kids friendly rather than thrilling!

Amy — Google review

We went to the park during the 2:30-6:00 session. For sure thought we'd only stay a couple of hours, but ended up being the last ones to leave! We rented a VIP cabana since we had 3 little kids. Cabana came with a couch, 2 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, a table, mini fridge, a safe, and a personal attendant to bring us food and drinks. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! The water slides were awesome!

Stacey J — Google review

We absolutely loved this place!! I have two small toddlers so it was a little stressful hoping that they had an area for my 3 year old and my 11 month old child. The kiddie cove solved that problem. The lazy river was a lot of fun as well they had the inflatable donuts to be used for free as well as life jackets provided for free

Eduardo R — Google review

This place is great fun for kids. They have multiple waterslides, a lazy river and water features! Went on a busy summer afternoon it was not too crowded the lines for the big water slides were only a few minutes long.

S M — Google review

This park is very small but a good day out of the heat. Ideal for kids 10 and under. The options to only come in the morning or afternoon make it a little more intimate and keep the masses away. We visited on a weekday which was ideal. Storage lockers were $8 for a small or $10 for a large, but they are nice as they open from a barcode wrist band, not a key to carry around. Entry was $10 for Seniors, $20 for kids. $30 for adults.

Darrel C — Google review

Great place when the weather is right! Easy Free parking! Pretty good snack bar and changing rooms... great for young& old because it's hard to loose sight of each other.

Mark G — Google review

I was worried about my grandkids playing at Cowabunga because they haven't had swimming lessons, but there are no pools to save yourself in at the bottom of the slides, the lazy river isn't very deep, and there were plenty of life jackets in several sizes available. The kids had a great time and didn't want to leave, and there was good seating for chillin adults to watch. I Definately recommend!

De A — Google review

My husband & I dropped our teenagers off, but decided to stay ourselves when we saw the place. So much fun!! My only complaint is it's a full price ticket, but you only have access to the park for half the day.

Sally F — Google review

We love going to Cowabunga Bay! The season pass is the way to go if you live in the area. We went at least a couple of times each week.

Carla B — Google review

This was a pleasant surprise. I've seen it for years, but finally decided to go. I'm so glad that I did.My daughter and I went. There were a bunch of slides from really fast to calm and slow. We didn't have to wait long either to get on a slide. There was also water being sprayed so you got to be in water while waiting in rhe line. The lazy river was nice and relaxing. The food was good too. They uqve a good selection with descent prices.

Known for deep powder snow, this longtime skiing area offers a wide variety of terrains.

Top flight slopes, quick lift times, and dispersed crowds even on a Saturday. Definitely a top tier spot for skiers coming to the area. We spent all morning and afternoon skiing, and we barely waited more than 5 mins at any lift. Views are spectacular, and you can find ever level of challenging run here. Highly recommend to all skiers

Daniel S — Google review

Wow! What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This mountain is wonderful. In my opinion, the best skiing in all of Utah. Amazing trails, amazing off trail skiing too. High speed lifts get you to the top fast. Incredible views and incredible snow. I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, and will always come back!

Jason L — Google review

I have skied every resort in Utah. But I keep coming back to Alta. It’s true that there are a lot of old white guys, but they are chill. If you’re from California just don’t go here, it’s not that good. Don’t waste your time, Mammoth will suit you just fine.

Alta Ski Area provided a transformative skiing experience, especially compared to the challenging conditions in Park City. The abundant snowfall created exceptional skiing conditions, making it feel like a completely different world from the previous day. The diverse terrain and pristine powder at Alta made for an unforgettable adventure, highlighting the resort's commitment to delivering an outstanding winter sports experience.

Great place, just all you need for comfortable skiing: rental of best gear, different level of trails, off trail ride, kids care & school, food and others.Parking should be reserved in advance at weekends, can be purchased together with ski pass online.Enjoy

Sergey V — Google review

Maybe a little quieter than Snowbird, no snowboarders. Over half the trails are Black Diamonds, but most are accessible to a high intermediate skier. It's true ski-in from the lodges at the bottom, with a tow line at the bottom connecting the lifts back to the hotels. There are two restaurants on the slopes, one with a beer window onto the picnic deck. The ski school is at the bottom of the Sunnyside lift, which is getting a big renovation this year. We went right before Easter and conditions were still pretty good: fresh powder the first day but a little slushy on the last.

I skied there in the winter and it's marvelous. But it is so beautiful to go visit during the summer when all the snow is gone.

My skies were stolen here. I recommend Alta install a camera around the holders where people put skies. Lost my new pair of skies and never find it back.

This is one of the prettiest ski resorts in North America. The mountains are absolutely amazing. The ski runs are great. Access to the parking lot was not too bad, especially now that there is a reservation system. I would highly recommend Alta for a great ski destination.

Me and my sons spent 3 days skiing in Alta ( first time)Skiing was great. The staff are amazing. The chili soup is a disaster . They can do better when they charge so much for a “cardboard soup “They should learn from Aspen snow-mass what food is.We definitely will go back to Alta to skiIt’s only 30-40 ride from Salt Lake City and parking is easy

Best skiing in the world. Crazy amounts of snow and my favorite terrain ever. Facilities are really old but that’s what is really cool about it. It’s all about the actual skiing. It’s mainly locals who can ski like no other resorts population. They don’t allow snowboarders which I absolutely love. They really do ruin the mountain for everyone, sorry snowboarders. You have to pay for parking on the weekend but it’s not horrible and a good way to guarantee you get a spot, however I leave 4 stars because getting there is so ridiculous it’s almost not worth it some days. I got to the base of the canyon at 7:50am a few weeks ago and didn’t get to the resort till 12:30pm. Needs to be fixed asap. I could have driven to Vegas in that time, however, that’s not really the resorts problem. Love Alta, take away the canyon issue and I would ski there every single time

I visited Alta Ski Area in February 2019, right before COVID 19 officially announced in the US and the quarantine got started. It was pretty lonely at that time. The area was closed for Skiing but still there was lots of snow. The place is very scenic, lots of mountains and trees. There are many streams of fresh water flowing in the area. The hidden lake hike and the lake itself are very beautiful. The area was also pretty clean and well managed.

Fantastic Gorgeous Place! Was there to actually climb Mount Superior.. gnarly conditions but got to the summit. Must have all gear to ensure safety including shovel/beacon.

Patty A — Google review

A true skiers paradise. Every trail has limitless variability. We almost forgot to explore other parts of the mountain because just one side had so much going on. Truly beautiful sights and trails. If you ski and you're coming to Utah, make this mountain your #1 priority.

Seth A — Google review

A smaller resort but many advanced and intermediate options. Since some in our group we're intermediate and most were advanced or experts, we were able to take a lift and do different runs and end up in the same place. We also as skiers appreciated the fact that snowboarders are not allowed.

Jack D — Google review

Alta, you were PERFECT.The division of the mountain into intermediate/beginner and expert made it so easy to find the lifts and runs that were right. My friend was able to focus on greens and I could still find more funky terrain/blues while staying together.Powder was insane, parking was easy, ticket options were diverse and we had an awesome day! Can wait to come back.

Robin R — Google review

I really like Alta. It gets a lot of snow. It's not as big or as difficult as Snowbird. It doesn't allow snowboarders. But despite that, it's just right. If you're teaching little kids who aren't experienced, you'll have much better time in Alta than in Snowbird. I highly recommend it for families with small kids who are learning skiing. The lift and the terrain for kids is just perfect in Alta for that purpose. It's not all perfect, and Alta's very expensive. Parking access could definitely be improved. The parking reservations for weekends are just painful but apparently necessary.Every time I come to Alta I end up loving it. Snowbird just grinds on me, but the terrain is amazing, so I generally prefer Snowbird these days... But, Alta is just a really nice place when it comes to skiing, any I've never had a bad experience there. Check it out if you have a chance.

Nik I — Google review

Alta is one of my favorite places on Earth. Their ski school is fantastic, the lifts are well run and organized, and the terrain includes everything from beginner runs to death-defying insanity, with plenty of everything in between. Due to the topography, Alta gets some of the highest snow totals in Utah. It's also beautiful in summer with quite a few trails around the area, camping, and a welcome retreat from valley heat. It's definitely a skier's paradise, and that sums up the ethos - its not focused on après ski or the resort experience, but if you want world class skiing, this is the right place. They've long since decided to keep Alta skiers only and not allow snowboarders on the lifts, so if you ride, you'll find similar terrain just west at Snowbird. For terrain parks with rails, jumps, boxes, and more, Brighton is probably your best bet. For a traditional ski experience, there's no place like Alta.

Kevin W — Google review

My husband’s favorite place all year round- especially winter for downhill ski. I love the spring- summer flowers and fall colors. We saw tons of moose there, which is always cool! I love hiking up to the lakes. It’s a great workout and incredibly beautiful to snow shoe, skin, or hike up!

Serena L — Google review

I’ll have you know I’m an expert skier. And ALTA IS FOR SKIERS.Ok but for real this is literally my favorite mountain in the world, it literally was a factor in me moving across the country. What sets alta apart is how long the powder lasts. It’s truely in a class of it’s own imop. Why that is I have no clue but I think it’s because the expert skiers are enjoying new terrain opening after storms and then there’s harder areas near beginner territory that many people don’t hit.I also love the hard trails and then there’s a nice mix of beginner terrain as well.Parking isn’t awful and there is an average mix of food options. If you are on the fence to visiting alta please do so it’s awesome. And some might find this a plus but no snowboarders, in utah snowboarders are very talented and tbh skiers seem more annoying especially people learning but that’s just me.

Frank V — Google review

Great ski area for the people who love skiing. I wish I could go there all the time. It has an old school vibe so if you’re looking for a fancy resort this is not it.

Outdoor Activities

Deer Valley Resort is a ski resort located in the town of Park City, Utah. The resort features hotels, condos, and shops along with restaurants and activities. It is one of the most popular resorts in Park City and offers many activities such as skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cruising on a small lake for kayakers or stand up paddle boarding.

Amazing ski resort. Amazing terrain. I was able to make it on a beautiful blue bird week. They had enough snow to make it worth it. Great conditions. Steep terrain, but enough for everyone. If you are a skier it is a place you must visit. Worth the price. It can be over the top but the terrain and conditions are worth the price of admission even if it is for one day.

Ryan C — Google review

The staff was amazing. The lodge is a bit confusing at first but there were plenty of workers to help guide you where to go. The ski school was probably the best I've experienced so far (I haven't experienced many to be fair). The runs were fun. I will say there is probably more for more experienced riders. It's also reasonably priced! And free parking too with a shuttle that brings you to the lodge. One downfall is no snowboarding.

Jacqueline A — Google review

as someone who enjoys a bit of pampering now and then look no further. if you want that and more head to deer valley for some of the best skiing in one of the most sumptuous settings with the most attentive and friendly service i have experienced. lovely hotels, delicious meals and powder, powder, and more powder await. we could not have been happier that we made deer valley one of our ski destinations in a state that offer so many. thank you utah, we'll be back and we'll spread the word for sure!

David J — Google review

Family friendly ski (only) resort. This place was so much fun. The best groomers and a great balance of greens/blues/blacks. I found the weekday traffic to be lower than other places so there was plenty of room to roam all day. Would do again.

Charlie H — Google review

My friends and I had the worst time at another resort (Park City Mountain). Kind of glad because we would never have gone to Deer Valley otherwise. For a first time ever in life skier, it was a fantastic experience. Smooth process checking in. We got ski lessons. Instructor Todd was the best!!!! All staff were kind and patient with us newbies. Thanks so much! See you soon!

Reese B — Google review

Went for some mountain biking and it did not disappoint. I’m new to the sport and this was by far my favorite day on my bike yet. I hate pedaling and having the lift was amazing. Tidal wave jump track is so enjoyable. If you haven’t ridden here yet, it’s time to change that!

Ryan W — Google review

Best ski resort I’ve ever been to. Amazing service, food, and the runs are great! The groomers get a lot of the blues and all of the greens groomed almost every night, and the blacks are amazing for more advanced skiers! I personally enjoyed the blacks over by the Mayflower lift, but they’re super hard, so unless you’re an advanced skier, I wouldn’t try them! The lift lines can get super long if you don’t wake up and get over there early enough, so make sure you’re over there and getting your skis on BEFORE Carpenter and Silver Lake open. Anyway, this resort is amazing, and it’s kept me coming back for 8 years!

Mason T — Google review

Though the base lodges can give you the impression the place is super crowded the mountain is big enough so skiers are spread far and wide. Like Alta this resort is skiers only. Lots of great trails for all abilities. Lines for the most part are short to non existent... during the week at least. We don't do weekends.

Bruce W — Google review

This review concerns the skiing activity at Deer Valley. My son and I skied here on a snowy Friday and enjoyed it a great deal. We parked in the free parking and took the shuttle provided up to the base, which worked well for us. The high-speed lifts get you lots of vertical and the staff are very professional and capable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch from their famous cuisine. Lunch hour seating was at a premium, however. My only complaint is that the lifts gather at the top of the ski runs, which means you may end up at the bottom at the wrong lift....

Mark O — Google review

My favorite Utah resort on a “bad” snow day. Runs are always very well maintained and groomed. It’s a huge resort with tons of lifts. It’s very well staffed, and the staff care a lot about your experience. It’s a great ski resort to check out if you are 1. a local with an Ikon pass or 2. made of money.5/5!

Noah V — Google review

We didn't stay at the property, we just ate there. Excellent service by some fun Jamaican servers. They always add a fun spice to your experience. Other than the fact that it was ridiculously expensive, it was fun.

Johnny G — Google review

The pros:*Parking lots are full but everyone hangs out in the lodge so there are no lines at the lifts. Interesting that no one actually skis when they come here*Hot water in the bathrooms is unlike any other resort in Utah*not young kids running lifts. All older professional people*It's not like other resorts where you ski through nature and picturesque mountains. It's more like skiing in people's back yards which is really weird. One of the chairlifts literally takes you over a road

Rio Tinto Stadium is a state-of-the-art venue that hosts a variety of sports events and concerts, including Real Salt Lake Major League Soccer matches. The stadium boasts excellent seating with clear views of the field from any location. While food prices may be on the higher side, friendly staff add to the overall enjoyable experience. However, parking can be challenging for those without specific passes or prepaid arrangements. Nonetheless, Rio Tinto Stadium remains an impressive facility for sporting events and entertainment in general.

First time attending because my grandson loves soccer and wanted to see a professional game for his birthday. Why did we wait so long??? What a fantastic night, great game and experience! The stadium is amazing! Fairly short walk if parking outside onsite lots. We all want to go again.

Lisa H — Google review

I had such a blast watch Real SLC!! I have it 4 stars because I wish food was easier to get!! But the vibe was very fun! The security was very good, a piece of advice bags need to be see through. Very small clutches are ok. I’m ADA and the stadium had very good handi cap parking! The stadium wasn’t busy that night so it could be different other nights. I will be going back we had so much fun!!

Jamie M — Google review

Cool field. Nice seating. We got rained and hailed on. Wish security was around to direct traffic because a lot of us were left out in the rain and no one would move

Brynne A — Google review

Fun stadium and awesome experience for anyone in the area. It's got great ambience and fun traditions for the fans. Food is expensive (as you'd expect), you can't bring any food in (as you'd expect), staff is nice and helpful, most seats give nice views and aren't the worst comfort-wise. Parking can be tough for the stadium, and you kind of have to know of a good spot if you don't want to end up at a paid lot. If you can catch a late game then the sunset at the stadium is awesome!

Ryker E — Google review

So, was here for a Real Salt Lake match, and it was AWESOME! I have every intention to return here... But parking is a nightmare! There are a lot of open parking spots, but only if you have a certain pass, or prepaid, or a number of reasons that I do not understand because it was my first time here 🤷🏻‍♂️Regardless, the stadium is awesome, the food is of course way overpriced, haha! But the soccer match was awesome.

Cory ( — Google review

We had a wonderful time at the exciting RSL vs. San Jose game. The stadium is well laid out. The view of the game on the pitch is great from any seat. The fans were kind and enthusiastic for their team to win. I look forward to going again!

Mike B — Google review

Our first time here for a RSL game and it was fantastic! The stadium is nice and there are no bad seats.Ticketing at the gate was quick and easy and finding our seats was a breeze. There’s good signage throughout the stadium and plenty of staff around to help if needed. The bathrooms were as clean as you could expect at a stadium during a game. Concessions were reasonably (stadium) priced. The experience itself was fantastic! We sat in section 4, row N and had a great view of the whole place. The environment is so great and it’s definitely a place we’ll come back to again for some great entertainment.

Double F — Google review

First time at this stadium. Very good seats but you could see the field pretty well from any seat. Good was decent, everyone was super friendly. Especially the beer lady.

Carianne T — Google review

Awesome stadium to see any event. We have been to multiple ReAl SL games and one concert. All events are amazing. If you can get a east facing seat you will be much happier until the sun goes down. Food and drink options are great as well. Parking is okay- but is a mad house getting out!

Braden G — Google review

We just loved the stadium, and the atmosphere was electric. My family and I thought this was great value and fun. We will definitely be coming back. The staff was very helpful. As this was a Spur-of-the-moment event for us and our first time attending a match. Highly recommend for families.

Wayne R — Google review

Great place to experience your first MLS/NWLS game. Tickets are always affordable, you can park pretty close to the stadium and the food is always good. They usually always have a fun center for the little ones before the games as well!

Joel B — Google review

What a nice stadium! I experienced my first Royals game and was blown away at how beautiful the stadium was. I loved that they had multiple playgrounds onsite and two bouncy houses for the kids to enjoy during the game or in-between halves. What a thoughtful addition to a stadium. Not sure where the stadium parking was, but we parked over at the Megaplex parking structure and walked over. If there is parking at the stadium, perhaps better signage would help.

Christina — Google review

My experience at America First Field Stadium was simply impressive. The venue is extraordinarily spacious, clean, and well-organized. I recently had the opportunity to provide a service there, and I was delighted with the meticulous organization and cleanliness with which they initiate and conclude their activities. Everything remains in complete order and cleanliness. Additionally, I must highlight the kindness and consideration of the staff responsible for logistics for those of us providing services. I recommend this place 100% for any type of event, especially during the summer when they offer movie screenings and, of course, to enjoy the thrilling matches that take place in this stadium. I was absolutely enchanted and will definitely visit again.

Alejandra G — Google review

I am one of the most biased reviewers of this location. I have been a season ticket holder since the inaugural game in 2008. I worked at the stadium for 2 and a half years from 2018 until 2021. And since 2021, I have been able to facilitate various soccer camps and clinics on the field.Having said all that, the staff are very kind, the stadium layout is mostly very open and easy to navigate (avoid the "hallway on the east side), and the view from the west elevators is amazing.Certainly this facility has its limitations, but recognizing the location and market size, this stadium is very well designed and inviting. Although I have only sat in a handful of different sections, people often say, “There isn’t a bad view in the whole place.” I myself have always enjoyed the view. On the same note, my seats are the very best in the house.

Jdub ( — Google review

Super nice facility, lots of overpriced food options and good acoustics for cheering during games. Everything you could ask for in a stadium!

Cody B — Google review

RSL is awesome, and this field is beautiful! I always love coming to see a game and experience the great atmosphere.

Lucas R — Google review

Usually a 5. Pregame for kids and socializing is a blast. Come early. Sometimes its a 4 when they don't fill the water coolers or fix the water fountains. Food is pricy, but you gotta pay rent right!

Barry W — Google review

Great venue, great event, great weather, great people. USA Rugby match. However, parking on site costing $25 a vehicle is ridiculous. Went with two of my brothers and we each drove in from different cities, would have cost us $75 to park. Luckily, we found a place to park off site for free and relatively close, we could walk. If the venue had been more packed it would have been atrocious.

Cory B — Google review

This is a great venue for the Real Salt Lake MLS team. Great atmosphere with incredible views of the Wasatch Mountains. Food is decently priced for a sports venue. Easy to get around the stadium, parking isn’t too bad and the staff is friendly.

The Park City Main Street Historic District is a largely Victorian-era district that, after a fire in 1898, was reconstructed in various architectural styles. Today, it houses over 100 boutiques, 50 restaurants, and plenty of outdoor adventure companies.

Wow. So many amazing art galleries in one place! And plenty of shopping and great food options as well. I was very impressed that even while looking at photographs, paintings and fur coats that cost more than my car (and some more than my first house) that everyone was so nice and friendly. Not even one person was like that sales lady on Rodeo Drive in the movie Pretty Woman, and many seemed to genuinely enjoy my South Carolina drawl and comparing stories of our travels. I didn't get to ski, but there were plenty of families there that seemed to be having a blast. We found really beautiful views, a wonderful atmosphere, and a truly welcoming group of people.

Harold ( — Google review

Wow, what a great little town to be in. There are so many galleries. Many great art and photography works. I can imagine this will be a great place to be when the skiers come back in the winter.

Tommy O — Google review

Whenever you're up in Park City you always have to walk along Historic Main. Be aware that this is a tourist location, so you're looking at higher priced dining experiences and somewhat overpriced goods. But if price isn't too much of a concern then you'll be able to enjoy local artists and galleries, bookstores and confectionaries, and some pretty tasty pubs and restaurants. If you're in Utah for the ski season this can be a fun place to hit after the slopes

Elise — Google review

Lovely City! Another place you should visit if you visit Utah. You should go during the daylight and night. Unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and entertainment. The street was beautifully adorn with colorful lights and flowers. Would love to go back and spend more time on City Park Main Street. The whole city seen like a nice place to live at. Enjoy it!

Leisurely walking around town. Lots of galleries, shops, restaurants. Visit the museum, worth the price of admission. (Cost of admission discounted with coupon)

Lots of good food and drink options, great art galleries and lovely sights. It is a public street with limited curbside parking and a nearby parking structure.

Federico H — Google review

Christmas snow globe tour was a little bummer. The website made it seem it would be a little more interactive. Some are spaced really far apart. Had a little higher expectations considering it is in Park City. The decorations on Main Street was cute. Loved the tree.We happened to be there the night Santa was supposed to ski down the slopes. No Santa unlike what the site claimed it was to happen. Big bummer for the kiddos!

We love Park City. The people who live here are stuffy and rude but the town is adorable. It fun to walk around if you can ignore the locals.

D D — Google review

A nice looking town with lots of high to overpriced shops to browse. Got some good exercise walking down then up hill. It does have a trolley to help people out. Occupied a couple of hours looking around. Asked a shop clerk about public rest rooms and she rudely told us they were next door. They got the job done at best. It is interesting how such upscale towns have such poorly maintained facilites for people that are spending money in the town.

Outdoor Activities

Located at the top of Park City on Deer Valley's Summit, this renowned resort offers skiing, snowboarding and other activities in winter. The resort bustles with beautiful autumn colors and offers a true ski-in/ski-out experience.

Park City Mountain is great for so many reasons. The mountain itself is huge especially after the recent connection with The Canyons. It’s also very easy to get around for such a large mountain. There’s a ton of terrain for every level of experience. The town of Park City is also a great ski town with everything from cool dive bars to high end art galleries. Highly recommended!

Trevor G — Google review

Neat place to check out even in the off season. We did the alpine slide and it was pretty fun. You take a ski lift to the starting point and it's a pretty long ride to the bottom. We did wish they had a ticket option that would give you more than one ride but we had a good time. There are multiple restaurants and shops to check out and several other attractions. City buses also stop here often so you could explore other nearby points of interest with ease.

Daniel L — Google review

We love Park City Mountain. Have been skiing it for years and used to have a place there. Not 100% thrilled with the Vail takeover. The Epic Pass is great. They paid parking is not! Coming from out of town, we didn’t have people to carpool with. One day we had to pay $45 to park in the garage. It’s a bit extreme I feel. Most of the people who work there are nice. The snow is usually wonderful. All positive points there. But it is getting very crowded, likely due to the Epic pass phenomenon. So harder to get away from people. We’ve decided to try a different location next year for our annual trip, for the first time in a long time. Stay tuned. ❄️❄️❄️⛷️⛷️

Amazing routes. All skill ranges. Relearned boarding the hard way. Spent a couple days on Park City Mountain. Highly recommended Canyons Village for Intermediate- Advanced as it’s always a little less crowded with the kiddos and beginners. Or stay near the tops of the peaks and send harder routes. Favourite had to be monkey powder (black) where you ski through some tight forest and tree line. Can get very skill heavy.Had amazing fresh powder and snow days the week of Christmas through new year.Routes in the morning were a little delayed on opening. Cause of heavy snow fall. If you’re going to park at the base of the mountains by the lifts plan on getting there early, like 7:30am. Gear up and get in line by 8. Otherwise be prepared to be behind hoards of people in line for the base lifts.

Marco I — Google review

I am extremely happy with my experience here! I am still learning how to ski, while my boyfriend has been snow boarding for years, and we were both able to enjoy the mountain together. There were tons of trail options available for all skill levels and the maps were easy to navigate. One of my most absolute favorite things about Park City, and the reason I’m writing this review, was the staff! Starting from parking, to the season pass office, etc, we were greeted with friendly staff who were more than willing to answer questions. I was AMAZED with the hospitality provided. The park “hosts” greeted us on the mountain and even on the lifts, giving us all the great tips and tricks to make our day fun. There were multiple occasions where we weren’t sure where to go, and all we had to do was turn around and find a person in a red shirt who happily gave us direction. Even the mountain safety staff was beyond kind! Special shout out to Jeff in the mountain safety team - I was moving slow at the end of the day and he took the time to make sure my boyfriend and I were okay and safe as we made our final run down the mountain. So far this is my favorite ski experience I have had and I can’t wait to come back. We even saw moose at the end of our day!!!! So cool!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Sarah W — Google review

Awesome place to ski! There is definitely something for everyone. We personally, preferred the Canyons side. It's more open with more runs and less crowds. PC is also Sno-Go friendly and we had a ron of fun riding them down the slopes. We will definitely return!

Varvara L — Google review

Not worthy of even 1 star. Disgusting, rude and unprofessional customer service at the ticket office by Darrell Evans. This man should not be allowed anywhere near paying customers!!! I will never ever set foot in Park City again. The lift lines were over 2 hours long, Yes 2 hours!!! See the photos...you pay $264 for a day of skiing except you don't ski, you spend the day in long, long lines just to get on a lift. The prices are super expensive. For example, a half day ticket will cost you $211 for 4 hours of skiing. DONT COME HERE!!! GO SKI ELSEWHERE!! MR OWENS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSING SOME VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!! LEARN TO BE RESPECTFUL OR GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS! Park City, shame on you for taking people's hard earned money to have them stand in line for hours. And...for hiring someone like Mr. Owens to assist your customers. He should be taking out the trash that way it matches his professionalism! Park City your loss is Jackson Hole's gain! BYE BYE BYE!!!

R L — Google review

Excellent place for first time skiers! The mountain wasn’t crowded on Wednesday or Thursday, and we were able to get right on lift. The routes were great because even at the top of mountain you could take a green route, so as a beginner you could still go to top. Homerun was THE most fun route, 3.5 miles of cross country turns and then some steeper slopes with the best views EVER! The snow was well maintained and powdery, a perfect spot for beginners learning. The whole lodge was convenient and easy to get around walking in your ski boots (parking, food, rental equipment, bathrooms are all in main building at bottom of mountain).

Caroline F — Google review

Nice little town, specially if you are a skier ⛷️ we stay for two nights at the Marriot mountain vacation club, and enjoy the time and place. Restaurants are a bit pricey and during September to November many places closed down. People are friendly, if you are a skier you will enjoy a lot this place and probably will pay more than we did as we stayed during the off season.

Paola T — Google review

6 of us skied last weekend and had a wonderful experience. All of us various levels so skied green to Double black and all enjoyed the runs and variety and size of the resort. Food was excellent. Shuttles to mountain from main St Park City to Canyons was convenient and easy. Many lifts were fast. Highly recommend. Beautiful weather

So, I’m definitely more of a Brighton girl, but Park City is starting to grow on me. It’s truly a different experience every time you’re there. I mean, it’s so big, how can it not be?? If it’s your first time here, I’d recommend starting at Canyons Village. I just think it’s more fun over there. Work your way over to the other side of the mountain if you need to. The coolest part about that side is the Town Lift, which takes you right into town. And, there’s a free shuttle that takes you to each base, so you can get lost and still make it back to your car.

Wether you are a beginner skier or a pro the Park City Mountain is the ideal place to hone and practice your skills. They feature one of the longest in the USA green runs -3.5 miles long. It’s a perfect place for the beginners and families with small kids. They even have a small ice rink. Although I saw four years old kids navigate blues like no tomorrow. The ski school offers all day long kids lessons, half a day adult lessons or private instructors. All together the resort employs over 100 instructors. The ski area is endless, they have so many slopes with various degree of difficulty and the Epic lift pass also works with the Canyons near by. You can spend a week hear and still not to hit all the runs. The resort ski area features many equipment rental companies but if you rent from Legacy Sports Rentals you can valet your equipment overnight. Also keep in mind that locker rentals are on daily basis only but if you need to store helmets and boots overnight you can rent a valet cubby right next to the lockers. There is a plethora of dining options, all pricey as expected at places like these. The quality of food versus prices definitely needs improvement. Vending machines are selling water for $5 a small bottle. After a weekend of skiing you will be ready to sell a kidney to cover the cost. All of the staff working the resort: ski valets, instructors, rental personnel, administrators were helpful and friendly. If you love snow slopes and snow sports and have some expandable cash Park City is the place to be.

Omg to much to say! Library and its cafe was great! I loved their activities and food. And all the small art shops are beautiful! Definitely a highlight! Don’t forget Roots! The small clothing shop is great! We go every year!

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE AND POUR COSTUMER SERVICE FROM “manager” DARRELL EVANS!!! HE HAS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!CAN NOT EXPRESS ENOUGH WITH WORDS HOW ANGRY WE ARE RIGHT NOW AND HOW DISRESPECTFUL THIS PERSON TREATED US!!!Came to ski ( from Miami Feb 24th to 28th ) in Canons and Park City, but due to the incredible amount of people ( pictures/videos attached), we couldn't do much. We arrived early ( Saturday the 25th ) and started the line for the gondola at 8:30 a.m., and after almost 3 hours in line, we were able to get in the gondola to start the day around noon!Almost four hours in the morning were wasted making a line and using a gondola just to encounter hundreds of people making more lines for chairlifts. We paid ($250 plus tax per day, almost $270 ) for a full day of skiing and we only got maybe 2 hours of skiing. Some chairlifts close at 3:30 p.m. as well. We are coming from out of state and we are on vacation for only three days of skiing. When we arrived at the ticket window and explained our concern to this employee, (”manager”) the lack of arrogance and audacity was beyond insolence. He did not care about anything we were saying. He was not willing to help us in any way and was making fun of us.Here we are on our last day of skiing and wanted to ski for half a day and the price for a half-day ticket is almost $230!!!! The full price is $250, ridiculous! After the explanation that was provided to this employee, he refused to assist us in any way. When I asked if I could take a picture of his name tag, he offered to pose with a thump up and a big smile! That was when we lost it!I don’t think I can describe the frustration!!!I don’t understand why this company has this kind of employee working for them.Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional!!!We could have paid for half a day, but his attitude ruined the whole experience and we decided just to leave. This place is not worth it!!!Not coming back again to be treated this way!Darrel Evans’s supervisor was not helping either. After we left for a few minutes, we needed to speak to Darrel’s supervisor, but he seemed not to care either!WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Great customer service. I got locked out of my account, and they got me back in immediately. The slopes are great and there are a lot of tracks. I've had a season pass here before and I was happy with the variety of park, tree, and regular runs.

Park city mountain is my favorite mountain. It is well maintained and it's huge. The free shuttle system is absolutely incredible. This has been my second year traveling out west to visit this mountain. It's always a blast and there's many bathrooms and places to eat all around the mountain

Allison M — Google review

I'm not a skier so we bought non-skier gondola lift passes up the mountain. Really spectacular views. The mid-mountain village was a great way to spend a couple hours chillin. Definitely recommend.

Don M — Google review

Beautiful breathtaking resort. We had gone early December, so more than a few runs and lifts were closed because of how early it was. But there were plenty of blues and greens to keep us busy and challenged for our level.Bus system was straightforward from the main mountain to the canyon side, but was fairly confusing to get back and accidentally went the wrong way. If all the lifts were open though you could get there via lift. Not crowded. No waits. Well maintained slopes. Overall, really great

Conner D — Google review

Awesome! The food and resort was amazing! It had many choices of food, and places to go! The skiing was great; it had ski runs for all levels. It is a little pricey but it was worth it!

Winter. 23/24 updatedFirst of the ski season and we are looking forward to seeing 👀 what the ❄️ will bring!!I posted the early season prices.Absolutely 💯 amazing.I'm coming up to the largest ski area in the United States. The lifts are top notch and the crowds are mitigated by the express online order and outside expedited fulfillment. On the high valley transit system, you can visit the rest of the best ski resorts in America.Family friendly, plenty of facilities that use zero waste toilet 🚻s.I recommend you go see for yourself.I'm sure you're done with any other resorts.Summer is not a down time for the resort either. Just went with my girlfriend to the adventure park.Longest Alpine Slide in the country with a mountain coaster as well!!!!

Expensive resort. If you want to pay the premium of $300+ day pass by all means go ahead. Please do your own research well before entering the resort. I suggest checking out other alternative resorts for better pricing. There are way cheaper resorts that are near Park City that are $50-$100 for a day pass. I paid about $300 for a lift ticket without a lesson. I only went to this resort because I thought they had price options for the beginner slopes with the magic carpet, but they did not. It was too late to go elsewhere by the time I got there. Beautiful place and friendly field operators. The customer service on the phone was degrading me during the call. He was sarcastic, rude, and made remarks. He was not helpful at all. I definitely will not return to this resort and not recommend it to my family and friends due to my experience with their office customer service.

I had an issue with blisters on my ankles after day 1, the ski patrol picked me up in the golf cart and took me to the first aid office and bandaged them up so I could enjoy two more days of skiing. I even got a snowmobile ride back. Q was super helpful and really takes his job seriously. I will be skiing Park City and the Canyons again next year. Thank you Robert E.

The Canyons Village at Park City ski resort offers a variety of amenities for skiers and snowboarders, including 4,000 acres of terrain with 182 runs. The resort is connected to the Park City base area by the eight-passenger Quicksilver Gondola. Beginners can enjoy exploring the upper mountain green runs while intermediates can delight in blue cruiser runs.

The mountain is great, not much open but it is early so was to be expected. But the parts that are open are well maintained. We love that the mountain opened early this year as it is not as crowded as it normally would be which I love. Hardly any wait at the lifts. We will be back. The people working the mountain and in the shops in the village were amazing and super helpful. We enjoyed Canyons Village better than Mountain Village.

Chanaanc — Google review

Had a great time! I just wish that the green hill wasn’t the end of other runs. You have lots of beginners mixed with more experienced skiers. I’m sure they won’t change anything over this review, but just for anyone who is at a beginner level I would look for a more beginner friendly mountain.

Well organized ski area, very impressive operation. Free parking, RV parking overnight, short walk to lifts, short lift lines all over the mountain, and courteous workers. Base areas has good stores and restaurants. Convenient store, gas station is right next to the parking area. This is a great place to spend time. And good snow!

Awesome location for skiing. We stayed at the Hilton Sunrise Lodge located in the village, which was really close and walking distance to the slopes. It is very convenient for skiing. They offer a shuttle service to other trails at Park City Mountain Village and Main St. Go to Main St for shopping and dining. Be sure to stop at the " No Name Saloon! So cool!

No cleaning service but towels available. Only drawers were the night tables and tiny drawers in a small TV stand, so limited place to put clothes. Towel hook on door missing. Toilet was wobbly and not really safe to sit down on. Toilet paper rack was right over the toilet seat on one side. Had to be careful when sitting to avoid injuring myself! Who thought that was a good place to put it?? Had to return home a day early due to an emergency and they would not refund us one day. Hotels would be more accommodating. Only one restaurant was open for lunch and dinner, but food was great. Chair lifts varied in operation and was expensive to use, especially if you wanted to bring your bike up. Had questions but no one was available at the lobby entrance. Basically huge difference in experience from ski season.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this ski village, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Here are the highlights:1.Convenient Location: The village is just a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City International airport, making it easily accessible whether you’re flying in or driving. The proximity is a major plus.2.Accommodating Hotels: Not only are the nearby hotels close, but they are also exceptionally accommodating. It’s reassuring to know that comfort and convenience are top priorities.3. If you are interested in ski lessons, Canyons Village offers child lessons grouped by ability level and similar age range.4.Well-Designed Runs: The ski runs are meticulously set up, providing an exhilarating experience for skiers and snowboarders alike. The mountain terrain is both challenging and enjoyable..5.Close to Town: Being near Park City center adds to the overall appeal. After a day on the slopes, you can explore the local scene, dine at nearby restaurants, or simply soak in the charming atmosphere..6. Free Shuttle Service: The area goes the extra mile by offering a free shuttle service to and from the village. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes transportation hassle-free..7. Cozy Fire Pits: Along the walkway, there are fire pits where you can sit around and watch others walking by and skiers..In summary, this village area combines convenience, quality, and warmth—a winning combination. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-timer, I highly recommend it.Cheers to memorable moments on the slopes!

I love that they have fireplaces outside for guests. It would be awesome if they had a little coffee/tea/cocoa stand, so you don't have to go inside the restaurant, especially now 2022. I saw something like that but it only seem to sell alcohol. Still would recommend

Great resort!! And helpful people working here! It seems like it became vogue online to bash the ownership (Vail), but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended! PS I do wish you would get the avalanche control at Murdock Peak area done more often/faster- would be great if that was open more!

Great location able to ski- in and ski-out using the Sunrise lift. Also only 5 min walk to the Orange Bubble or Gondola. Lots of new restaurants in the area and good areas for apres ski drinks. Rooms are perfect for our needs with a kitchen with dishwasher and a spa-bath. Carpets were a little worn, but that's typical of ski places.

Brendan O — Google review

We stayed at an Airbnb here. What a great location! Super close to town! Super accommodating with the free shuttle they offer to and from the village. My husband enjoyed snowboarding while I grabbed a drink and sat by one of the fire pits. Personally, I loved the free cabriolet.. what amazing views!! Definitely recommend staying here or even just to visit for the day!

Love the canyons side, worked here for almost four years as a snowboard instructor. Snow is dope, hotels are close and very accommodating. The lessons are awesome and the snow is 10/10. The runs are set up great, and i cannot imagine working elsewhere.

Absolutely gorgeous locale. Rooms were fresh and welcoming. Great gym and access to several restaurants, shops, and bars. Wonderful showers. Great and patient staff. Not every room had a refrigerator or microwave.

We stayed in unit U5. Great location with walking distance to cabriolet lift and heated outdoor pool. Just a few things I would change about this unit. The dryer is not vented to the outside, so it does not dry anything well. The upstairs is all one area, which is fine, but the bathroom door is open at the top. The light from that is very bright, waking everyone if you turn the light on. It is well stocked with everything you need for cooking.

Danielle S — Google review

Perfect location, right at Red Gandola stop. A few restaurants in the area, where we were not able to get without reservation for dinner.Very nice playground for kids. We were lucky and with 15’’ snow , kids just played in a snow and did not need any additional entertainment. They all got together and enjoyed a snow ⛄️.

New hotel, modern design. Actually one of the few times I actually like the carpet in all locations. Great facilities, thoughtfully designed throughout.

Canyons Village has a great location to access the mountain and do some dining or shopping. The hotel rooms are good, but the Sundial Lodge is a bit dated - even though it's still okay.

Matthew J — Google review

As amazing as Park City Canyons is in the winter with their pristine powder and incredible activities for all family members, visiting in the Spring and Summer to enjoy their trails is also STELLAR. The hotels offer ski in, ski out but also hiking and biking trails with unparalleled views. We cannot wait to return in a few months for movies under the stars and to enjoy High West beverages by the fire again!

Ms. T — Google review

The best part is that they have a free parking lot here, throughout the day and it is easy to access the main Gondola free of any charges. It's much wiser to just park your car here and headout to either of the villages.

Lakshya G — Google review

Oh my God this was such a perfect place for our week-long vacation. There were events for families in the central area and plenty of places to eat for dinner. We ordered some food for our condo and were able to eat there as well. Definitely recommend staying in this location in the future

The ghetto mountain. Epic pass is cheap, you get what you pay for. Everything in this resort is falling apart. From the completely destroyed pavement at the parking lot giving you a rally raid vibes to the abandoned not groomed trails. Horrible. Super busy, rude poor people. Not well maintained. Garbage. Spend more money and go deer valley. Park city is the ghetto of all mountains! Welcome to the slums

Utah Olympic Park, built for the 2002 Winter Olympics, is a sprawling complex that offers various activities and sports events. It features ski jumps of different heights ranging from 10m to 120m, bobsled-luge track, and Nordic combined events. The park hosts national competitions throughout the year and is also used by professional athletes for training purposes. One can engage in adventure ropes courses or take zip-lining rides while exploring their inner athlete.

We did the bobsled experience and it was awesome! So much fun! That being said, if you're having second thoughts, it really isn't as scary as you might think. Very similar to a wooden rollercoaster ride. The park itself is amazing in the winter. Lots of cool things to see!

You should take some time and go here if you are visiting Park City. You can watch ski jumpers do their acrobatic tricks into the water for free. For $85 you can do 3 1/2 hours of sliding the tubes down the ski hill or the alpine slides or the zip lines. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it didn’t feel too busy. The skiers are very entertaining to watch.

Mark T — Google review

There may be more to do in the summer. The museums were great and free! Get there before 3 p.m. for guided tours. They have a ski jump simulator, which was fun! Overall, a nice experience if you are looking for a break from the slopes.

Our visit the Olympic Park proved to be a highlight our visit to Park City. Three members of our family participated in the Bobsled experience and they were so happy with it. They all came off the mountain sporting wide grins and giggles. The museum which is free to the public proved to be an exceptional display. I loved every exhibit! We all said we would visit again given the chance.

Janet K — Google review

They have lots of training areas to view the athletes. One place is right outside the Olympic museum with divers and skiers both able to land in a pool of water. And it is all handicap accessible if needed

Gary W — Google review

Cool place to check out if you are nearby. It’s free admission, you only pay if you want to participate in any activities. They allow you to walk up to the top, we had on sandals so didn’t make it to the top. There’s a museum inside worth seeing. I give it 4 stars because the activities are over priced.

Utah Olympic Park did not disappoint - we visited with our 3 boys ages 12 to 16. Highly recommend taking the guided tour which takes you up to the top of the ski jump and bobsled areas with incredible views - come a little early and watch the future Olympians training. Also take time to walk through the Museum which is free and has several interactive experiences. Thoroughly enjoyed!

This place is impressive if you are a winter sports fan, or Nordic fan especially. The museum is interesting and nostalgic. The venues are fantastic. Had so much fun bobsledding! Went so quick but glad I can check this off my bucket list. Only complaint was that they did not enforce mask wearing, which was mandated by the state when I was there. Several people were not wearing their masks on the bus ride up and in the safety video room.

Free museum with very cool exhibits and interactive simulators. Great place if you like skiing, Olympics, or winter sports! Guided tours available. In between winter and summer hours and access to some areas may be limited. Very good place to visit on your way into town!

Always an amazing adventure at Utah Olympic Park. This time we did the extreme tubing down the ski jump and had such a thrill. No wait and despite being the weekend, we were able to get right on the hill. Taking the lift up to the ski jump was peaceful and a fun addition to the experience.Lots of olympic memorabilia and history to view in the main lobby. Parking is easy and close. There are even lockers for purses and handbags.

Exciting summer activities for kids 10years + such as zipline, extreme tubing, ropes course to name a few. Perfect place for adventurous kids. The staff are very friendly and take time to help answer questions. Some rides require hiking paths to reach them but are worth the effort. Impressive facility in a very picturesque setting, good museum and facility tour. It is close to a very beautiful alpine style town Park City, which is nestled into the valley. Two massi e off leash dog fields, and a bridge for skiers to come off the slope right into town A place that knows who and what it is catering for. Very busy, lots of pre , and apres ski, perfect March break weather sun and snow.

Alison W — Google review

What a blast the bobsled is to ride. I highly recommend doing this ride for several reasons. 1. It is fun. 2. It helps to support track maintenance and the workers needed to make it happen. 3. Proceeds from this and the store benefit our Olympians. All you do is, pay for the ride, take a free shuttle to the finish line where you receive instruction from Carl, receive another free shuttle with your bobsled and professional driver to the starting point, get in the sled 1, 2, 3, and sit down 3, 2, 1 and hang on while you reach 65 to 70 mph and experience up to 3 and 4 g's. You will be hooked and if like us, we did it again the following day.

Our family spent Memorial Day morning at Utah Olympic Park - it was an incredible experience! We loved the Extreme Zip, Alpine Slide, Canyon Rope Course, Airbag Drop, Drop Tower, and the views from the chairlift. Tubing wasn’t available the day we went.Everyone was smiling, while enjoying these fun outdoor activities, in a beautiful setting.Highly recommend!

I really didn't know what to expect. I read that some Olympic athletes trained there, but that was about it. It turned out that there were about a dozen kids and early 20's people practicing on the smaller jumps and landing in a pool. We enjoyed watching that. The bobsled run also had some paid participants. We opted out since it cost $100. It was still fun to watch. The biggest surprise was going to the top of the ski jump. I had no idea it was that high. Those athletes are crazy! Many rides for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Science museum

The Natural History Museum of Utah is a 10-gallery institution dedicated to earth science and native cultures in Salt Lake City, Utah. The museum has an impressive collection of objects from around the US and focus on Utah's unique geological and prehistory. Hands-on exhibits educate visitors about the formation of sand dunes and how to build earthquake-resistant structures! The museum also has a impressive fossil and dinosaur collection, including the only set of Ceratopsian skulls in the world.

The dinosaur exhibit is wonderful. I love the gemstone exhibit too. I also enjoy the geology exhibit that traces the history of Utah through millions of years of massive change. The museum regularly hosts visiting exhibits from all over the world. I recommend going during these times. There are also interactive activities for children in the mornings and at scheduled times. In other words, to get the most out this museum, you should look at their event schedule and plan ahead.

Michael B — Google review

Amazing place to take your dinosaur enthusiast! My kids love it here. They have multiple levels with different exhibits. Interactive displays for hands on learning and to ease your mind, hand sanitizer everywhere!

Nichole H — Google review

Mine and my youngest son's first experience at a Natural History Museum. We were not disappointed. It was truly amazing. Between all the dinosaur skeletons, the wild life section, and the history of the Indians in Utah, it was all an amazing experience. Plus, the view of Salt Lake City is incredible.

Kris C — Google review

Very nice museum with tons of interesting things to look at. We were there on a weekday when some schools were there. Had it not been for all the kids I believe we would have been the only ones there. Rocks and minerals were very interesting as well as all the fossils and dino bones. We had a great time and would recommend this as a stop for any traveler.

Matt M — Google review

Really cool natural history museum! It is large and artistically designed. We loved the dinosaur bones displays as well as the gems and minerals. The taxidermied animals and insects near the DNA and cell displays was super cool too. Absolutely worth checking out.

Keri M — Google review

This was one of my favorite museum experiences I’ve ever been able to participate in. The walking amount can be a bit of a struggle for those with lesser endurance, but even then, slopes are gradual, elevators are available, and the entirety of the exhibits, save for a couple optional locations, appeared to be easy enough to navigate and handicap-friendly. The stories and presentations were excellently captured, and they made it very easy to discern between interactive and non-interactive attractions and displays. Fun for any age, with lots of visual, auditory, and tactile interactions throughout. Set aside a good 2-3 hours if you want to see everything and experience things wholly. We spent 2 and a half hours here and ended up having to be rushed out at closing time half-way through the Colors exhibit.Absolutely worth the time, the travel, and the visit.

Kyle M — Google review

This was an amazing experience! The architecture and exhibits are spectacular. I would totally share pictures of them, but it would just spoil the magic! I also really enjoyed the outdoor decks that give an awesome view of the salt lake city skyline. It was fun for myself, and the rest of my family. Very fun, and I would definitely go here again in the future.

Breath-taking place. You'll dive deep into the history of Utah. It'll surely give you a serotonin boost. The palaeontology section is mind blowing. Loved their collection. The dinosaur's bones are marvellous. Their mineral collections are also praise-worthy.You'll need 3-4 hour min to visit the place. They have a cafe on the ground floor. The ticket fee is $20 for outsiders, free if you have a student pass (of the U)Highly recommended place.

Did you know that pterodactyls are not dinosaurs! This is a lovely museum nestled right up next to the mountains. The layout is designed masterfully. It is the perfect afternoon activity! Please do not smell the dinosaur meal…..ugh. You will also learn about the difference between mastodons and woolly mammoths! Well worth the price!

Hot tip: start from the top floor and work your way down.Hot tip for tourists: if you have a pass to a natural history museum in your hometown, it might be valid to use here too! We used our Museum of the Rockies pass to get in free!Hot time on time: we went on a weekday in the evening outside of tourist season, there were no crowds and not many other people there. This is an incredible museum. We happened to visit while there is a Jane Goodall exhibit and it was amazing. There is a lot of thought put in to this museum and I recommend it for young and old alike. The viewing decks were closed when we arrived, but I hope to get to go out there next time we’re in Salt Lake.

Sarah M — Google review

Had a great time here with my two small kids. Lots of steps but there was an elevator for the stroller that was quick and convenient. The dinosaur exhibit was a little hard to find and my husband ended up having to go back through with our 5yr old to find it before we left. Some of the hands on features didn’t work but most did and they were fun for everyone. The staff were helpful and our toddler was free. The gift shop is pricey but had some great stuff that the kids are still enjoying weeks later.

The Natural History Museum of Utah is a sensational interactive destination in Salt Lake City. A visually stunning building set at the base of the Wasatch Mountains is home to dinosaurs, rocks & minerals, animals and indigenous peoples. At the start of the museum, a hands-on kiosk guides even the smallest of guests to the museum level that most interests your blossoming Biologist, Paleontologist, Naturalist, Historian, or Geologist. This way, if time is limited, make a bee-line for target areas.Engaging all five senses, visitors can smell extinct flora and fauna; dig for fossils; engage Paleontologists at work; draw dinosaurs; jump to create seismic waves; assemble cells and DNA strands; observe ants; touch a snake, and so much more! Before or after entrance, trails open up to the majesty of Utah's natural wonders for hikers and bikers alike. Be sure to pack sunscreen and good shoes!Whether there's an hour or all day, don't miss this gem. It's in the top 10 "things to do in Salt Lake City" for a reason. 10/10 recommend!

Museum is huge, 5 levels, all each have a little outdoor patio with stuff to read. Don't lose your ticket cause it's also the key to get in an out from the patios. Lots of interaction rooms, areas and monitors. When you enter there's a cute quiz that suggests where to start. We didn't listen an started on level 5 an worked our way down and across. There's stairs an elevators. Next to the elevators on each level are restrooms. It took us about 3-4 hours to complete the museum an shop the gift shop. There's much to look at. Native american, fossils, dinosaurs, geology, the earth with minerals and plate tectonics, animals/insects, DNA, micro biology, and human/ animal evolution. An a mini zoo. I'd definitely check it out.

What a great experience and well worth the visit. Not sure of cost as I went as veteran free this weekend. Located off Wakara way at University of utah. 5 floors to explore. Native American indigenous peoples on top, an observation deck looks out over the Salt Lake Valley. Dinosaur on a level some play and Interactive for the children. Wild life exhibits on one floor. A great walk through history. Everyone should visit if not once, many times. Gift shop and food court are here to.

My favorite part was the Native American artifacts. A lot of the science exhibits are hands on / oriented for younger children. They also have an impressive array in of gems and minerals - many of which I had never heard of, but were very pleasing to the eye. It was quite expensive, and closes right at 5. I would have liked more time to explore the upper levels.

Wow!! This museum is AMAZING!! My husband & I, our 8 year old son & 15 year old daughter stayed a little over 6 hours!! Easily could have stayed longer. Soooo many dinosaur 🦕 bones!! Such a beautiful museum. Saw a couple animal presentations from the Wild Side with Alex. I loved all the gems! Hubby loved the Native American displays. Truly a place to check out!

Angela P — Google review

We really enjoyed this museum! The attention to detail is incredible. The flow is perfect to match your pace. You can quickly go through or spend your time at each station. It’s set up as a walkthrough. From dinosaurs to current wildlife-the place has it all. And the view outside is AMAZING! Definitely check this out!!!

David H — Google review

I would ask you to try to go to this museum a little earlier because it close pretty early so I think you’ll need like two hours to enjoy it in a full depth. There was an exhibit of a scientist who lived with monkeys. It was a really cool exhibit. Buying tickets is very easy at the door. However, they don’t have student prices so if your student having your student ID as you want to anything, unless you are a student of university of Utah.If you really want to see the information about dinosaurs, highly would advise you to go to this museum $23 ticket is very well for this museum.

Rafiga I — Google review

One of the best place with lot of information, educational activities, lab to see paleontologists working and well designed with aesthetics. Would highly recommend this under top things to do in Utah.If you are local to Salt a lake City, you are lucky to visit frequently and explore one topic at a time and enjoy summer camps too.We wish we had more time to explore leisurely.!!

Jane Goodall exhibit is great. Very friendly staff I recommend at least 2-4 hours here. We did 2.5 and still feel like we had to rush through some stuff. Dino area is insane but minerals are pretty quick. The overall layout is all ADA accessible and beautiful, really combines form and function. Worth the money

Gabe D — Google review

This museum was fantastic, from the outside it looks small, but the interior has so much well designed space and exhibits. The only downside was the parking was a bit limited, but other than that, fantastic. The replica fossils were amazing, as well as everything else! Fantastic place to visit in SLC!

Alex O — Google review

This museum is amazing. I love how it's laid out, and it definitely looks like a canyon on the inside. You can go to the cafe without a ticket, if you want. But the museum is so worth the price. There's 5 floors with so much information. I loved the mineral area, and the dinosaurs from a local quarry were also great to look at. The native voices exhibit is so informative, and definitely worth the stop.Parking is free, and they have a good lot with ramps. The views from the cafe are great, and they gave bathrooms near the elevator exits.

Dani D — Google review

This is a great museum! In a beautiful building with amazing views, this bolsters also some great exhibits as well. From the natural history of Utah and the special collection of Jane Goodall, this is a perfect place for all ages. We did get a good discount for being students, but I would for sure come back with new exhibits in the future. The gift shops also have lots of great options.

Kyle M — Google review

Beautiful museum with lots of exhibits. Highly recommend! If you go during the warm seasons it's right next to the red butte gardens, which is also nice to do. Lots of the displays had interactive, hands on activities, fun for kids and adults it took me about an hour to go through the exhibits but one could easily spend a few hours here.

Willow — Google review

This was our first visit as out of towners, and we could have spent the whole day here! The exhibits were so cool and there were a lot of interactive areas for young children. A lot of people come for the dinosaurs and that is definitely a cool part of the museum, but the entire museum was great.

Heather M — Google review

Unbeatable collection of dinosaurs 🦕The museum is very nicely design to make the visit so enjoyable.Such an amazing visit , you can spend hours without noticing.Interesting for young kids as well as adults.

Botanical garden

Nature & Parks

Red Butte Garden is a botanical garden located on the campus of the University of Utah, and it features nature trails, workshops, and outdoor concerts. The garden is known for its impressive plant collections as well as its many educational programs with regards to wildlife and flora.

Enjoyable, even in winter. We went for Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t crowded at all. Despite many plants being bare for the winter, the gardens had plenty of year-round plants available to view and lots of reading material if you walk around their water-conservation area, which showcases lots of plants that survive Utah weather year-round with minimal watering. There’s also a great view of the city/valley from up there.Overall, a positive and peaceful experience and I’m excited to see it during summer as well.

I like to visit gardens and nature centers while traveling. I was able to fit in Red Butte Garden on a Sunday afternoon before dinner while visiting Salt Lake City. The entrance is very inviting , you can almost sense the beauty that you are about to experience before you even open the doors. The staff was extremely cheerful and friendly. They took care of our ticketing, one girl complimented my necklace, the other made sure to tell us where to start and guided us towards the map (which was very helpful). There are some many different garden areas … every twist and turns leads to more breathing beauty and an overload of pleasure to your senses as you smell the heavenly scents, see and touch all the different plants and flowers and hear the birds. Everything is so peaceful! There are so many little spots kind of hidden from the main path you could spend all day nestled in nature. There were also lots of hiking trails we did not get to experience. We hiked morning and night our entire Utah trip , including all morning this day, so at this point (our very last day in Utah) we were just looking to experience calm and relaxation and that’s exactly what we got! The gift shop is wonderful and even the vistors center has lots to see if you want to explore more. There was a photography exhibit going on … but also other beautiful plant rooms and even the stair cases going up are adorned with nature! I really loved it here and if we ever go back to Utah again, I will put this on my list of to-dos… and stay there 1/2 the day!

Well located garden east of the University and on the uphill toward the mountains, hence the excellent views of the entire city and the surrounding mountains. Many unique and unfamiliar plants all around and many pleasant seating areas for small and large groups. I highly recommend stopping here whether you are a local or a traveler. Construction to expand uphill is underway. $16 per adult if you're not a university student.

I grew up going to Red Butte but have appreciated it more as I’ve gotten older. It’s outdoor amphitheater is my favorite concert venue and I had my bridal taken in the gardens (in June when the Wisteria is bonkers!).This year we attended Red Butte’s Halloween event, Boo-tanical Gardens, and were totally blown away. They went all out! It was my favorite Halloween activity we did this fall. The fairytale-themed scavenger hunt led us on a big loop through the gardens (bonus for having plenty of space for social distancing) with a different theme in each area.Even my two-year old was able to enjoy the hunt because each item was held by a skeleton he was able to help spot. The signage and stories throughout were masterfully done, tying in plant life and appealing to the older end of the age spectrum. The gardens were gorgeous with their changing leaves, mums, and an impressive amount of blooms still in tact—not to mention the highest quality decorations. This will definitely be a yearly tradition for us!

Gorgeous place for a lovely walk and peaceful spots for relaxation.Wheelchair accessible, some steep slopes and inclines but totally manageable.Loved the herb, medicinal, and fragrance gardens.Tons of flowers, bees, and butterflies while we were here.Lots of benches for seated opportunities.I think this is a lovely walking space for exercise. You can do as many loops and varieties of paths.Staff were super friendly to accommodate us, we needed to store one piece of luggage and backpack, as we made this one hour pit stop bedore our flight.

A wonderful garden to visit if you are local or from out of town. We were in town for vacation and visited the gardens in the morning and the museum that is right next door in the afternoon. There are lots of different garden areas to visit and wonderful views of the city. They also have a wonderful children's garden with different play areas, including giant lizards, a wooden home, a snake tunnel, and a fireman's pole. It would be easy to spend a whole day here!

Heather M — Google review

I'm not a local but if I were I would visit this place all the time. I was there in June and it was so beautiful. I spent about 6 hours there and wasn't ready to go. I especially love the hiking trails that are behind the gardens as you feel like you're in the wilderness but you can't get lost. The only negative is that there is no option for food that I found. A café would be perfect here.

Gorgeous garden. Lots to see. Only wish I could have gone without so many people there. Seemed there was someone parked at every cool photo opportunity. The gardeners were all friendly. Can’t say the same about the girls at the front desk. The views at the top of red butte are worth the hike. Very pleased with my visit!!!

I had a few hours to kill one morning last week in Salt Lake so I decided to take advantage of my membership at Red Butte garden and pay a visit. I was afraid because of the hot weather that it would not be in the greatest shape but boy was I wrong! It is absolutely stunning. What a great way to enjoy some time in Salt Lake. It was quiet with lots of shady spots to rest and take in the beauty. I highly recommend.

Red Butte Garden is a hidden gem in the Salt Lake Area. Even for those who may not typically be into gardens, you will find beauty to enjoy in this garden. The botanical gardens go on and on and on and opens your eyes to how many various types of species there are of different flowers, plants, trees, grasses, bushes, and shrubs. So many of them look gorgeous but also smell amazing. There’s tons of small benches and alcoves that you can step off the trail onto and enjoy a picnic or have a private conversation with a loved one. I’d highly recommend this as an activity for any visitor coming to the Salt Lake Area!

Lucas M — Google review

Wonderful gardens sampling a variety of flowers, shrubs, trees and climbing plants, all which would do well in Utahs desert climate. The venue itself was well taken care of with multiple paths to explore. The majority, if not all, of the gardens are wheelchair and stroller accessible, aiding in the enjoyment for all ages. We caught the garden towards the end of the summer/early fall and there were still enough flowers and plants in bloom to make it worth the trip. This would also be a great place for wedding or bridal photo shoot.

for all garden enthusiasts and nature lovers, this place is well worth the visit. There is a large variety of plants to see. The trails are easy walk on, less of course if you off trail. I am post my favorite pics. We took our time. Wish I could have taken the outside trail up the mountain.

Red Butte Garden is such an array of luscious, greens, spectacular flowers, and plant life. The views over Salt Lake City are impeccable. It's breathtaking to walk around and see every name of every living thing. The beauty and perfectly intricate details of these gardens are amazing. You can sit bathe in the sunshine while gaining such a sense of tranquility. I highly recommend this place to everyone for people who love the wonders of nature.

I came here to see Los Lonely Boys with my friend and I love this venue. The best part was that you can bring a cooler with your own alcohol which saves a lot of money. It hosts very small scale events, so it's not as crowded and chaotic as large venues. You can bring blankets or chairs(must be a certain height) to sit on once you find a spot on the lawn. The lawn/seating area slants down toward the stage providing good visibility for everyone. The surrounding gardens and view from the mountain side was spectacular. The bands sounded amazing. Parking was free.

Slightly different kind of review here. We got married in the Fragrance Garden and had our reception in the Orangerie. The team at Red Butte was easy to work with, and they had team members available to shuttle us around on a golf cart when we needed to get to different areas for photos, etc. I was curious how it would work getting married in a venue that’s open to the public, and we had zero issues. They took great care of us and our guests. And the gardens are incredibly gorgeous. It was magic!

Visited on Labor Day. Labor Day is one of their free days. Normally ticket cost is about $14 for an adult. Unfortunately some of the hiking trails were closed due to construction. Been on them before and they are great with beautiful views of the city. The gardens have a ton of different species. Walking through you get fragrance and aromas. Even on a rainy day we had a lot of fun walking around and enjoyed the plants, aromas, and views. Worth it!If this review was helpful, please give it a Like!

Visiting Red Butte Garden was like stepping into a botanical wonderland. The variety of plants and flowers was astounding, each meticulously cared for and thriving in their own unique beauty. From vibrant blooms to lush greenery, every corner of the garden was a visual delight. The well-designed pathways guided us through different sections, offering surprises at every turn. The tranquil atmosphere and the soothing sounds of nature made it a perfect escape from the bustling city life. Temple Square, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the spiritual and symbolic center of the Mormon religion. The square contains the Mormon Temple and other significant structures, as well as gardens.

Wonderful experience with my older children (8+) while going to see Music and the Spoken Word on Easter! We were there for the first performance since the start of the pandemic and they were truly marvelous! I would highly recommend attending on a Sunday morning and taking it all in!

What a beautiful and solemn experience. We were in Salt Lake City for one day and, at the end of the day, we heard that the Choir was practicing. So we raced to hear them. Beautiful and inspiring.07/08/2022 EDIT: Please be aware that the main temple is currently being renovated/reinforced. So, it is covered with scaffolding and the towers are gone.

Beautiful grounds of LDS facilities. The main temple is under renovation for next 5 yrs, but the rest of grounds is beautiful! We went in the Assembly Hall, Tabernacle and huge visitor center/convention hall. The visitor center had some fabulous paintings and sculptures.

The temple itself is totally unrecognizable as it is covered in scaffolding. But the grounds still have an amazing feel and the Spirit is definitely there! I saw the Conference Center, Tabernacle, museum, and more. It was all family friendly and very interesting. Someone was even practicing on the organ in the Tabernacle when I was in there.

I recently visited Temple Square, and I found it to be a clean and peaceful place. The people there are friendly and lovely, always smiling and greeting each other. Being from Houston, where people don’t say hi as often, this was a refreshing change. The gardens at Temple Square are beautifully maintained, adding to the serene atmosphere. Although some of the buildings are currently under construction, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. So far, so good! I definitely recommend a visit to Temple Square if you’re looking for a tranquil and welcoming environment.

The Salt Lake Temple is being renovated. The renovation project is inthe third year. Over the past two years, two tower cranes were erected on the north and south sides of the temple. These cranes have been used for various purposes, such as removing stones from the walls and towers. Temple Square is well worth a visit, and visitors can go inside the Tabernacle. There are church volunteers available for any questions.

Robyn P — Google review

As we walked the square during the very cold evening, there were no people, and ultimately, no views of the Chapel...as there was a full-on construction project being done with a full-on 10' fence with razors surrounding the Chapel. They even had the surrounding block dug out to sub levels of the street. Amazing to see this scale of change being done right in the middle of the square! It's really something to be seen first hand... especially at night. Looking forward to the progress and ultimately the finished product. Amazing

Temple square is amazing. They must see. Good Mormon people are very friendly, polite, helpful, enthusiastic, and informative. The three girls in the picture accompanied my wife and I and and other couple. On the tour it was very impressive. The temple is over 175 years old. Reviewed the tabernacle and then came back for choir practice in the convention center later that evening. If you go to salt lake City, don't miss the chance to go to Temple's square.

Title: Temple SquareVisited on : 10 th march at 6:30 pmOur visit to Temple Square in Salt Lake City on March 10th, around 6 pm, offered a glimpse into its rich history and architectural splendor. While ongoing construction prevented access to the main building, we had the opportunity to explore the conference hall, home to a magnificent organ. The sheer size of the organ was awe-inspiring, and learning about its journey from a kind and generous missionary added a layer of depth to our experience. Despite the limitations, the visit provided valuable insights into the cultural and historical significance of Temple Square.Additionally, the cleanliness and grandeur of the restrooms were noteworthy, reflecting the attention to detail and care that permeates the entire premises.Although we couldn't explore as much as we had hoped due to the construction, our visit to Temple Square was still a memorable and enriching experience, offering a glimpse into the legacy and heritage of Salt Lake City.

Kiran R — Google review

Even with all of the construction, there are lights to be enjoyed. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was a full schedule of musical groups performing in the Tabernacle. They were very talented and the programs were enjoyable.Only the area around the Tabernacle and the Assembly Hall is accessible and lighted. The best access is from South Temple across from the mall. You can still get to the Conference Center from the north side of the Tabernacle, but the area is not lit up.There are protective walls blocking access to the construction area around the Temple. There are several sections where the wall is plexiglass so you can see the progress of the work. The Temple is completely wrapped in scaffolding. There are no tickets required and all of the concerts were free.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Sights & Landmarks

The centerpiece of Temple Square & the Mormon Church, this ornate structure was dedicated in 1893. With beautiful grounds and the Temple itself, it's an interesting place to visit for cultural tourism. There's also a pretty indoor/outdoor mall just across South Temple called City Creek Center.

This temple is so beautiful and so historic. I have loved coming here! We'll see what it is like after the seismic renovations. It will still be amazing! A great place to come and visit!

Tamilisa M — Google review

As an internationally recognized symbol for a specific religion, this is an iconic building to see in SLC. It's noticeable in the skyline of the city and is very well known amongst Latter-day Saints. They light Temple Square up to the gills with Christmas lights every year, and it's always fun to walk around. The building itself is pretty spectacular - it took a very long time to build in many years ago. If you are a believing Latter-day Saint, this building and visiting it will mean much more to you than the casual observer recognizing different faith traditions. However, it is an architectural structure and can still be recognized for it's beauty. This is simply my rating as a work of architecture. It is a symbol for a Christian religion that has major influence in Salt Lake City. As a tourist coming to visit, it's a building that will likely be on your bucket list in SLC.

To the the people making reviews can we NOT start making false accounts of events regarding this building? This is meant for honest reviews and let's keep it that way. If you want to go spread your false accusations of chanting and interactive plays I would recommend Twitter. All that aside looked nice before it went under renovation. Can't wait till it done in 2026.

I went for the tour of the conference center. The girls that gave the tour were extremely nice and had very good info about the temple and the conference center. Although I understand the temple was under construction that didnt bother me too much, but the fiberglass Jesus statue caught me off guard. I was expecting a marble statue of Jesus instead of a fiberglass rendition... I mean, really, the LDS can afford a marble statue.

I loved it. It's so beautiful and the visitors center was a great place to learn about the building of the temple. I also really liked the modal of Jerusalem and the narrative given showing the locations of the savior's last days.

I love this temple so much! It’s so unfortunate it’s been closed for almost 4 years! It’s always welcoming to members, and even non members. Non members cannot go inside for religious reasons, but they can still visit the temple grounds outside so they can have an experience too. Things are handled very professionally, and quietly here. Not to mention absolutely beautiful during Christmas!

The Salt Lake City Tabernacle is a beautiful, well-known tabernacle featuring the celebrated Mormon Tabernacle Choir and an organ with 11,623 pipes. It is located in Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah and is known for its beautiful acoustics.

Gorgeous tabernacle. The staff were kind and gave us an excellent tour and history of this building! Thank you!

Five stars? How about all the stars… we happened to show up in time for the noon organ recital. With just a handful of us there, It felt like a private concert on one of the world‘s great musical instruments. It literally brought tears to my eyes Look, no matter what your faith tradition or beliefs this is truly a wonder. Visit Temple Square, walk the tabernacle … amazing place… oh and the docents are friendly and knowledgeable. Say hello.

Michael R — Google review

No need for tickets. There are sisters everywhere to help guide you and answer any questions. They offer tours as well. All free of charge. The Temple is currently closed until 2025. But the Tabernacle and Convention Center are open to the public, as well as Temple Square. The Tabernacle offers an organ recital at 12 PM. Doors open at 11:50 am. Very clean restrooms. Bring drinks because no food or drinks are available.

Linda G — Google review

Such a beautiful, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and friendly giving us good background info on the Tabernacle. The acoustic demonstration was amazing! Great sounds!

Carmona C — Google review

We randomly stopped in for a quick visit during the evening with zero crowds. The pipe organ was on display and being played for a private group of only 3 guests! We sat down, remaining still and quiet... and took in the feeling of majesty and power. The acoustics were perfect to our novice ears and we found ourselves somewhat disappointed when the display ended. I can't even imagine the feeling of a full Choir! Wow

Richard W — Google review

What a beautiful place to be in. The Acoustics were amazing. The pioneer handcrafting on everything was incredible. The volunteer staff for the event were very kind and helpful. My daughter was playing for the event and they had cordoned off places for the family members. We had a lovely experience there.

Susie L — Google review

What an amazing structure, rich with heritage. It is hard to imagine how this building was constructed without all of the modern tools and machinery we have now. And the organ is truly magnificent!

Cindy S — Google review

It was so peaceful and serene here. The Church is breathtaking. If you go to Salt Lake City, make sure you add this to your list of must do's

Mandy M — Google review

We did a quick self guided tour of the tabernacle and it was enjoyable. There were only a few people visiting while we were there. I’ve seen it on TV since young, but finally got to see it in person. Unfortunately there was no performance while we were in Salt Lake City. The pipe organ

Big C — Google review

We had a wonderful experience attending Music & the Spoken Word this morning. We arrived about 45 minutes early and got perfect seats in the center back section. We could see and hear well. We were welcomed by friendly hostesses. We enjoyed watching the rehearsal before the recording of the broadcast. The music was beautiful and inspiring.

Conference center

Sights & Landmarks

The Conference Center is a modern, large building that is used for religious events, meetings, music concerts and other activities. It is the newest addition to Historic Temple Square and is the world's largest religious theater.

Tickets for general conferences are generally available through your stake presidency. Arrive about an hour early. Parking is available through the open lots east of the conference center. Parking is also available through paid lots of commercial lots east of the conference center. Music for the conference is by the Tabernacle at Temple Square or other choirs from BYU or BYU Idaho. Sometimes, a youth choir will provide the music for conferences. Broadcast from the first presidency, musical broadcasts, general conference, devotionals, and other Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints activities originate from the conference center. It is beautiful inside with original church artwork, sculptures, and design. Tours are offered!

Tyrell N — Google review

This is a beautiful conference center serving the Mormon temple. It's also where the tabernacle choir rehearses at time, but check the temple website to confirm (as of May 2024 due to construction, they'll be rehearsing here every Thursday for a while). The interior is spacious and you'll always find someone to welcome you or guide you. Check out the great view on the roof if you can. It's free to visit and you don't need a reservation unless it's for an event other than the rehearsals.

Michael B — Google review

You can freely tour the building which doubles as a sort of LDS museum, but part of the rooftop gardens are currently closed.

Renaissance R — Google review

Just a beautiful place to visit. Our last trip was at Christmas time and we were happy to see all of the lights and decorations. If you are lucky to stop by when they open, you have to walk around. The interior art work is so beautiful and inspiring. The staff is mostly volunteers and they are genuinely warm, kind, and pleased to answer any questions. The center of the building is a spacious conference center that can accommodate thousands. They have a rooftop garden with water ways. I have yet to visit during the proper time of year to see it in bloom and with running water, but it was still very impressive. They have nice, free a parking garage in a city that seems to not have a lot of parking. We always stop by here when we are in town.

Cynthia P — Google review

What a blessing to come here as a full-time missionary. The spirit is so strong here like no other place. It was my first time seeing all of the apostles and Prophet in person!!!! Watching general conference back in 2018 was apart of my conversion to the true church of Jesus Christ. Never underestimate the messages they share because they truly are men called of God. It is amazing to see people come here from all over the world to hear the great messages that they share. This will be an experience that I will hold onto for the rest of my life.

Korben L — Google review

I was in the conference center for The Tabernacle Choir's summer concert. What an incredible building! It's massive, bright, and tastefully decorated with meaningful and beautiful art central to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Christus statue was impressive. The concert was magnificent! With screens in the corners, you don't miss anything by not being up close. The music filled the space. For some songs, the harmonies felt like they were right in my head. It was wonderful! If you have a chance to listen to music in The Conference Center, I highly recommend any effort to get there.

K W — Google review

I took your of the place and it was super cool! They had lots of amazing art work, including a huge statue of Jesus Christ, and the main event center was beautiful. The place has a peaceful, inviting presence to it. At the end of the tour, they talked about the temple across the street and all of the construction they're doing to it. They talked about what they use the temple for and they let us go up the elevator to the top floor to see the construction project and see a rooftop view of Salt Lake City. It was cool! Afterwards they recommended a history museum about the church nearby, which was super interesting as well. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Braden F — Google review

Free tour of the 21,000 seat conference center+ those on the stage and the Tabernacle Chior. Beautiful paintings.

Amber S — Google review

Positively bedazzling. Spectacular views of Salt Lake City from the garden rooftop. Unfortunately, as of June 2022, Temple Square across the street was still under construction. But here within the conference center itself, everything was clean and gorgeous. We'd visited on a Sunday and entry was free. The main auditorium is unfathomably gigantic!

Robert L — Google review

I loved it!... Moved from Massachusetts last month and am finally able to see Music & The Spoken Word with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and Orchestra at the Conference Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

David T — Google review

It's an awesome building. After visiting 10 National Parks and seeing creation in its natural form this was like a competition with God's creation. The music was good.

Eddie O — Google review

Amazing architecture, great location in the city. Great place for those who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. All are welcome! Missionaries who volunteer there are very friendly and willing to answer any questions or give tours!

Colton D — Google review

The building is amazing! You just look up and you're in awe at the structure, the sound quality and the most important is the Tabernacle Choir that is known worldwide as the best choir in the world! You can watch performances and they have a Christmas show that they do every year. This year was the best presentation ever! You can also take tours of the building. They had it beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Tatiana G — Google review

I came to visit for an afternoon session in the October General Conference 2023. The establishment and its surrounding area is very spacious and well-maintained. The entrance process to get in went pretty smoothly, they have efficient ticket scanners and security at each doors and though it was busy, we only waited about 15 minutes in the line, before we were ushered in. The main lobby and hallways is very clean and organized. They have couple and sister missionaries everywhere to answer any questions and direct you to your seating area. The hallways are wonderfully adorned with amazing artwork and beautiful paintings. The facility is well-equipped with escalators, stairs, water fountains, restrooms, seating, audio visual, light and sound systems. My few suggestions would be having better signage (arrows and/or maps) around to indicate where the restrooms are located. I found myself and quite a bit of others trying to look for the restrooms during the intermediate hymnn in between session. Another suggestion is renovating the 2nd floor restroom, to manage the traffic better, it was a bottle neck area to get in and out the doors.

Jerahmeel C — Google review

The conference center is an absolute incredible building. We attended the Christmas concert put on by the tabernacle choir and it was absolutely incredible. There’s not a bad seat in the house. The sets were so detailed and beautiful camera work to put details up on the big screen was wonderfully done, everything was clean, and the volunteers were so helpful and friendly, I absolutely love this building!

Debbie D — Google review

We came to see the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert... the performance was absolutely amazing!!The venue is excellent. The balcony was not reserved, but they had ushers that actually helped folks find a seat. It was great! So rather than leaving gaps, they filled them with late arrivals. The acoustics are phenomenal, and the building is beautiful. The organ, the choir, the orchestra, the guests... all top-notch.Highly recommended!

Ryan F — Google review

It is such a great place. The BYU-IDAHO choirs and I had the opportunity to perform in the General Conference (Apr 2024 Sat Afternoon Session). Then I got to watch the Saturday Evening Session right after. I got free tickets from the Tabernacle, which was easy to do. I got a really good video up in the third balcony. This was a huge spiritual treat for me.

Ethan B — Google review

Who knew there was basically a huge Art Gallery inside?! Went here for the free Sunday Music and the Spoken Word musical performance and it was so beautiful and well-done. But we were pleasantly surprised to find so much gorgeous art to walk around and view afterwards! Such a majestic building with gorgeous architecture. And the rooftop garden and waterfalls are beautiful as well outside of winter.**If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up! 👍And follow me on Google Maps for more reviews, thanks!

We have so much fun with amazing missionaires , l been waitting to get on top of this building so bad so thank you so much for letting us access to the top.

Emerance R — Google review

Apart from the magnificent 21,000 seater edifice, I particularly enjoyed hearing the sisters on mission share their beliefs. It was fascinating to hear that the organ at the conference center has 7,708 pipes. The one at the Tabernacle is a massive 11,623-pipe organ - the 16th largest in the world.

The Utah State Capitol, originally built in 1916, is a neoclassical revival building that is currently undergoing a massive restoration project. It offers tours and exhibits of its original murals, and is located at the top of a hill overlooking the city. The Capitol is one of Utahs most eminent landmarks, and its architecture is spectacular.

Beautifully done! You have to visit this place. I really enjoyed the history. The architecture was amazing inside. So much more to see than I expected. If you are visiting Salt Lake City you should definitely check this place out! This is an excellent place to go when the weather isn’t great outside. I highly recommend this place.

Marion N — Google review

Nice place to visit. Lots of history. The architecture is incredible. I went during the cherry blossom season which really added to the coolness factor. Put on some nice walking shoes because you are going to add up those steps. If you park a ways off like we did, you may end up with shin splints. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but you have been warned.

A A — Google review

Beautiful state Capitol that is quite literally sitting on top of a hill. The building is well maintained, architecturally striking, and lovely to stroll through. Many murals and statues celebrate Utahs history.

Sarah H — Google review

Great building to visit! Government and politics aside, it's worth a visit if you've never been. The entrance is on the east side (to the right if you approach the building from the main steps). That's the bottom floor, so you'll need to go up one floor to reach the main beautiful floor. On higher floors you'll find info and exhibits on the architecture, history, and trivia of this building and all of Utah. I learned so much about so many city and state historical events that I felt like I was in a museum. Street parking is free for two hours.

Michael B — Google review

Neat place to visit and learn about! The architecture is beautiful. The tour for us (school group) included being able to see the earthquake supports that have been recently placed under the building. We were also able to see the court room. In that room is a hand-made timer for helping the speakers know when to stop. The timer is in the shape of a traffic light that was built by Lester Farnsworth Wire who made the first version of a traffic light in the state of Utah, in 1912. The "traffic light" timer is still used today. There are great resources on the Utah state capital website such as scavenger hunt games and coloring sheets for use during your tour. So much to see and learn about.

Tamilisa M — Google review

Our 1st stop here upon arriving from Ft Worth, to visit family and grab some of that historic snow! We just randomly arrived, and walked right in, and took a stroll throughout the building. Tours are available, but not for us today... timing. The architecture is stunning, regal, and somewhat intimidating. Bring your best behavior, and quiet voice, as this place will transform you to a different time and place. WOW! The history, art, marble, and meeting rooms were a delight to wander about. I suddenly found my posture improving, and my respect for those before us, well... humbling. Yay for us, just spontaneously stopping in. So worth your time. Nice job Utah!

Richard W — Google review

The most beautiful state capital I've visited so far. Full of history, elegant and so much fun. And the surrounding environment was just amazing. This city is really clean, beautiful and comfortable. Very attractive place as a whole.

Nicole W — Google review

Im not one to typically go on tours as I find sometimes they can be a bit dry. This one was actually good fun, about 30 minutes walk around that is done every hour.

The R — Google review

Five stars for scenery, I don’t know anything about the politics. What a lovely place to spend an hour walking around. Many of the biggest sites in downtown Salt Lake City are very nearby, and parking at the capitol and walking to them is a great way to get a feel for the area.

Craig S — Google review

This is one of the nicer capital buildings. Very large and good interior with nice Marvel and paintings throughout the dome as well kept and everything is very clean. I like to see the beehives hidden in the architectural and art throughout

Wow! What an amazing capitol! We stopped here early Sunday morning and found it to be open to the public. With multiple floors to explore and tons of displays, we spent a solid hour and more learning about various pieces of Utah's history. Well worth a family visit!

M C — Google review

Very impressive in architecture and size. Great 360 degree view of SLC and further out. Has chimes or bells and rings on the hour, perhaps more often. Arrived at 6pm so it was closed for the day.

Wonderful building and all surroundings. As I did not have the chance to visit Capitol in Washington DC, this is the closest building to the DC one. And it is just incredible.

Milan P — Google review

Our visit to Utah's State Capitol building was a highlight of our capital city tour. This architectural masterpiece, with its rich history, stands as one of the finest among state capitols. The intricate details and stunning design was captivating, making it a must-see for anyone in Salt Lake City.Exploring its hallowed halls and learning about the state's history added depth to our experience. The architecture was absolutely breathtaking and the exhibits providing a unique perspective of the city and State's history.I added pictures to showcase the grandeur of the Capitol building itself. Whether you're a history enthusiast, an architecture buff, or just seeking a fantastic viewpoint, the Utah State Capitol building should be on your list. 🏛️🌟#HistoricBeauty #CapitolAdventures #UtahStateCapitol

Mary M — Google review

Such a beautiful building! It’s free to tour and wander around the grounds. In the spring the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom and they are stunning! The inside is open to tour during regular business hours. Parking can be difficult but there is a small lot across the street to the south of the capital building by the super cute gift shop. Grab a souvenir or two there. Prices aren’t too steep and it’s a fun place to shop.

Lorri D — Google review

A newer capitol compared to many of other states. But well preserved and taken care of. The rotunda was beautifully designed depicting the history of Utah. A quick place to walk around and a good park to walk around. Great neighborhood. If you are lucky you may meet someone who works here and get to talk about the ins and outs of a capitol.

Tucker L — Google review

I took the TRAX train downtown to City Central and walked from City Central to the Capitol building. It’s a moderately difficult walk because half of it is uphill. Good walk for exercise! The cherry blossom trees are in bloom this time of year. They line a gravel trail that goes in a complete circle around the Capitol building. It’s another good hike and it’s not uphill. There are monuments and statues to view all along the gravel trail.I went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm and the Capitol building itself was closed. No one could go inside and view the interior of the building. That was a real letdown. Why is the Utah people’s building closed during normal business hours? Are there not enough tax dollars to have security there during normal business hours so citizens can go in and explore our Capitol building? I marked a star off because it was closed. But it is a great place to explore. People were picnicking on the lawn, flying a kite, kids were running around and climbing up on things, etc. Just be sure not to go there when protesters are demonstrating.

Michael J — Google review

Among the other 52 state capitals I have been to this one stand a literally above the rest! If you love giant marble buildings and old timey elevators Come check it out if you have a moment or two

Great views of the Salt Lake Valley. Also some gorgeous neighborhoods in the vicinity with homes ranging from big mansions to country-esque cabins. Slight gain in elevation from downtown.

Beautiful view from behind the capitolAlso researching names of state representatives to talk to about about problems with some laws/policies there was one of 6 representatives available it was Christine Watkins. Thankyou Christine! She was sincere and made time to visit and help me with some concerns. I hope she gets the support and acknowledgement she needs to continue.

My recent stroll around South Lake City led me to the Salt Lake City Capitol, a true historical gem framed by majestic mountains. The neoclassical architecture is a testament to timeless design, while the well-maintained grounds provide a serene environment. Inside, the Capitol's historical significance is on full display. The carefully curated exhibits and artifacts showcase the state's rich political and cultural heritage. The knowledgeable staff enhances the visit with their expertise, making the overall experience both informative and enjoyable.

Zain S — Google review

Well worth it.I have been to Sacramento Capitol, but this one seems even more massive than the California one, even though Utah is a much smaller state.I loved the stone every where, majestic.

Luca R — Google review

If you're looking for a very great and quite spacious building and grounds that are being used for the capitol of the state of Utah that also has really pretty cherry blossoms and lots of space to walk around, then, you have found it here at Utah's state capitol. It's a very nice way to spend 30 to 45 minutes in the early spring enjoying the beautiful sights and aromas of the cherry blossoms. With interesting monuments and historical things scattered about the grounds it's also quite educational.I give the state of Utah 5 stars. But since this is the government grounds, I'm gonna give it 3. Because governments, well, they're too big.

Title: Utah State CapitolVisited on : 7th March 2024Perched on Capitol Hill, the Utah State Capitol is an architectural marvel boasting three stunning domes inside and out. The rotunda dazzles with historical Utah paintings, while an impressive chandelier adds grandeur. Despite visiting at 6:30 pm, entry was easy, allowing us to admire both interior and exterior views of the city and surrounding snow-capped mountains. A must-visit for its beauty and historical significance.

Amazing. Staff are polite. Disability friendly. And a breathtaking site to see. It is also near a gold and copper refinery. Great place to see natural salt deposits that form right on the beach! There are bathroom facilities. A nice marina too. Good for early spring to fall exploration. There is a 5.00 fee to get in.

Melissa K — Google review

This is one of those places you go just to say you’ve been there. $5 per vehicle to get in and decent size parking lot. The visitor center is small but had some interesting information and a few souvenirs. The smell from the lake was almost unbearable! We wanted to dip a toe in but absolutely no way. This is def a stop for info and pics and not a camp or picnic spot for sure. I wouldn’t drive out of my way, but if you’re in the area, why not stop so you can say you’ve been.

LeeAnna M — Google review

My husband and I arrived right before sunset, so we didn't enter the park since the gate was halfway closed. We parked right outside of the entrance, where a lot of others were. We watched the sunset. Such a beautiful area.

Kay-Kay M — Google review

We came to see the sunset over the lake and was not disappointed. This time of day presented some of the best light I’ve ever seen for photographs. The visitor center closes at 5, and we got there just as it was closing. We didn’t get to see the inside exhibits, but there are some outdoor interpretive signs about the lake at a nearby overlook. There are also signs outside the visitor center that tell you about the copper plant nearby.

Candice S — Google review

This is worth the $5 entrance fee to enjoy a visitor's center and walk paths for views of the great Salt Lake. The park and its ultrawelcoming staff encourage you to explore and take in fascinating history. The lake is now at its smallest point and has been reshaped over 14,000 years. Learn about brine shrimp (also known as sea monkeys) and the habitat. There is a great little gift shop with post cards and trinkets curated from the salt of the lake. There are many educational signs as you meander short paths and take in views of the lake. On this side the salt is lower and they encourage you to put your hand in and are so moved We went on a hazy day. I couldn't tell if that was related to mining operations or something else, but nothing that felt like it tarnished the experience.

Jennifer N — Google review

Super pretty place although the water is super low and kinda gross when it’s this low, there also isn’t a whole lot to do here unless you have a kayak or something so I don’t know if it’s worth the money to get in It’s still a really great place to see the lake though!

Bronson G — Google review

One of the best nature places in Salt Lake City. A bit of a drive from the city. Walk on the lake's shore. If clear and sunny, great view of lake, mountains. The ranger station is helpful w answers. Buy a small container of salt for your table. Spectacular view of stars at night.I also recommend Antelope Island.

Andreas R — Google review

I loved the view here! The pay was about 10$ for a Ford and we (5) had a great time. Stroller friendly and the bathroom was clean. The water was actually salty to taste. Loved this for a great experience

Mrs. H — Google review

Worth a visit. Great scenery. Very cool seeing a vast lake and knowing the only living things in it are brine shrimp and flies. Tons of flies. The smell isn't great by the shore, but it's ok at the lookout.

Bac N — Google review

Worth the $5 vehicle fee to check out at least once. The visitor’s center has an interesting little exhibit that explains the geographical history behind the salt lake. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. And there are sea monkeys, which is fun! (Brine shrimp that live there.) There’s a small, smelly marina. Haven’t the slightest desire to hop in a boat but to each their own. There are dead pickled birds scattered across the shore. Some salt deposits which are cool to see. I wouldn’t take your dog off the leash here. Glad I visited but don’t feel the need to come back.

Ying L — Google review

This was a fun place to check out! It’s a pretty area with a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Be aware that there were a number of dead birds around so keep a close eye on children.

Andrew M — Google review

I have visited this state park several times, but only in winter. From there you can see part of Antelope Island. They have a telescope to observe and you can also see the Great Saltier. In winter, it is very cold especially if there is wind. Here I share some images from our Utah's Lakes and Reservoirs photography project. Contemplating the Great Salt Lake never disappoints. It is a walk very close to the city that everyone will experience.

Ana S — Google review

Great Salt Lake State Park providing access to a picturesque view of the lake. The visitor center is convenient, featuring a small store and clean restrooms for visitors. However, the park lacks substantial recreational activities beyond enjoying the scenic beauty. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to appreciate the Great Salt Lake's allure and enjoy basic amenities, this park is worth a visit.

Yura M — Google review

Very disappointing. Not well maintained and the beach smells awful. They charge you five dollars to enter the park. They have a small viewing area that overlooks the lake, and you can walk out to the small beach area. You have to walk through brush to get out to the beach. This area could be so much more than it is if the state would put a little effort into the location. Very disappointing compared to the other state parks.

Susan H — Google review

I’m not sure what the big deal is with this lake? It’s a huge salt lake that almost nothing can live in and smells like rotten eggs. It did a visitor center with some cool information in a trailer.

Mike S — Google review

This place, it stinks. There are brine flies everywhere. Inexplicably, the beach was covered in dead birds when we were there. The refinery for the Kennecott copper mine loomed in the background like mount doom.Five stars. It’s awesome how awful it is.

Christopher N — Google review

Small park, marina, and trailer style visitor center with a few gravel campsites right along the road in. Has picnic tables and handicap accessible observation deck. Short rough gravel walk to Taz Point, or you can walk down in the sand flats along the lake if you're OK with sand/mud, so wear durable shoes.

Jill F — Google review

The park is rather small but a good place to bring friends that cost from out of town to show them the Great Salt Lake. There is a fee to enter but very small $5. The access to beach is right there as well

Very pretty views of the lake. Minimal hiking but a great place to visit.

Mo S — Google review

We stayed twice and thoroughly enjoyed the setting. Wish they had more sites. The lake and surrounding mountains were glorious. I would stay again.

Terri M — Google review

My first time there! It was great to see the lake always wonder what the great salt lake lookes liked I finally got my chance was beautiful but that wind tho was no joke. I couldn't stand out there for to long

Roderick G — Google review

Small park, marina, and trailer style visitor center with a few gravel campsites right along the road in. Has picnic tables and handicap accessible observation deck. Short rough gravel walk to Taz Point, or you can walk down in the sand flats along the lake if you're OK with sand/mud, so wear durable shoes.

Jill F — Google review

The park is rather small but a good place to bring friends that cost from out of town to show them the Great Salt Lake. There is a fee to enter but very small $5. The access to beach is right there as well

Vladimir S — Google review

When you visit Salt Lake City, it's a must to see the lake itself! We had a bad timing and didn't see much because of the fog - but we still enjoied our time. It's a small park, with a small visitor center.

Laura — Google review

Such a breathtaking landscape. Photos you take will never do it justice. Admission was $5. The one thing I didn't expect were the flies. Bring bug spray.

My family and I rafting on the Weber River and we were initially skeptical because we usually prefer rivers in the 3 to 3+ classes, but we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the river. We knew it was going to be scenic, which it was, but there are definitely some times when you'll get a good splash and some rapids are more technical than we expected. Our guide, Holly, might have been the best guide we've had on any of our rafting trips! She was super friendly, knowledgeable about the surrounding area with fun facts, and was a much better conversationalist than any guide we've had. I would definitely recommend rafting here!

Alex R — Google review

Had a fantastic time on our rafting trip. We met owner, Dawna, as she was wielding a chainsaw and cutting up firewood from a tree that fell the night before. Friendly and nice, she introduced us to our guide, Mark. Mark was great - patient, knowledgeable and fun. The trip was great and Mark maneuvered us safely around obstacles. It was the first raft trip for my 75 year old mom and she was beaming from ear to ear! Thank you for an awesome experience!

We had a large group that went rafting.with Destination Sports and had a fantastic experience. Fun was had by all. Lars was our tour guide and not only did she make the trip fun, she gave us some of the town history. I am all about having fun and maybe getting our other groups a little wet, Lars knew just what to do to give us the advantage, while still keeping us safe. If you have an opportunity to go, definately do it.

Nicky D — Google review

We had a great time on our sleigh ride. We were also able to get close to the Clydesdale horses too. They are huge but were very tolerant of us. The Thurstons were so kind and took pictures of us with the horses too. Highly recommended.

Loved this place! The staff are all so friendly! Our guide (TJ) was AWESOME! He made the ride so fun and entertaining! He knew lots of facts about the place and even took pictures for us! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

My family and I had so much fun. Our girls were so excited to see the animals and we loved hearing the stories Todd was telling us about the place and his family. Would love to come back and visit next time we come to Utah!

What an incredible experience for me and my family. Michelle was such an amazing guide who took such great care of my two children (7 and 9). We could not have asked for a nicer person who expertly handled the raft. Highly highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a rafting experience.

Our experience with Destination Sports was fantastic. It was just my husband and I rafting that day, as it’s early in the summer season, but each of the 3 guides that tagged along with us were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy going. We will definitely book with them again the next time we come here!

Have a great time with Matt as our guide and new friends from Albuquerque. Enjoyed floating the Rapids at the ranch just below Devil's Slide. My grandkids also had a great time. I have floated a number of other rivers before yeah this was still a lot of fun in particularly with the high water level it moved as quickly Downriver. I would recommend this highly to others

Michael A — Google review

Michelle was the guide for my kid's raft camp (ages 8-13). They loved their experience. Michelle (teacher) not only taught them safety, (and kept them safe) but she also pointed out animals along the way. Highly recommend this company!

Great experience! We went on the Sunday morning trip, my friend, her 9 year old daughter and I. Our tour guide was Donna, she was really fun and amazing. Our whole group had a great time, we even got into a splash war with another group behind us. These guys are really professional and we felt comfortable and safe even passing through in the "rock garden." I would definitely do it again!! Thanks Destination Sports!!

Candice W — Google review

So first time ever rafting for 9 of us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The guides piper and Matthew were amazing. They really made the trip enjoyable comfortable. The half day trip was perfect for us newbies. We are 100% coming back here for the full day trip.

Upscale mall featuring trendy brand-name stores, a range of restaurants, movie theater & fountain.

A great and nice outdoor mall especially for Christmas shopping. Clean and safe area with so many different shops. We loved it! There is sufficient parking and an amazing number of different restaurants.

This place is amazing day or night and in all the seasons! So many events and shops. It’s always clean and there’s always plenty of parking! We love getting Fiiz and letting the kiddos play at the play ground!

I love the atmosphere here. Love the variety of restaurants. Love the stores that are here. You can always find what you're looking for. PLUS my favorite nail place is here; M Vince' Nail Spa so for sure go check them out.

I'm very impressed with their holiday setup. Santa is within a small cottage, and groups are led in one at a time. It makes the experience much more intimate for the children. They also welcome patrons to take videos for free, which was very kind and doesn't happen at all Santa stops.

Natalie N — Google review

Came shopping here with my wife and daughter. With a portion of my Christmas bonus I wanted to spoil my daughter. I've never been able to do that so it felt real good. We were there most of the day. I got some new gloves from Columbia that were a disappointment. The girls got shoes, clothes and beauty supplies. Great place to go shopping! Highly recommend, thanks Station Park!

Michael H — Google review

I don’t go to station park often because I spend more then I should. Ha ha there are so many different stores and I love the pretzel maker and the candy shop! There is so much to do there and so many different options of food to choose from!

Jackie S — Google review

Station Park, Farmington is the premier go-to one-stop shopping and dining hub north of Salt Lake City. Within the central upscale complex you’ll find charming park like landscaping, an array of prime shops, restaurants, business/retail space, apartments/townhomes, and a hotel.Station park is bustling again after the pandemic adversely affected the hub closing numerous shops and restaurants throughout, however, the development of new businesses and apartments/townhomes is flourishing.

Candice — Google review

Station park is great!! There is so many quality stores as well as areas to sit near the fountain or simply sit outside. It’s a great place to stop by to grab food as they have fast food as well as sit down. It is definitely extremely busy during lunch time(especially with the rush of high school kids during the school year) so I do try and go a little before 12 or after 1. Although it is busy at times there is always parking. Great place to walk around or go to various stores.

Station Park in Farmington is the place to go when you want to have a great time. The Farmington administration did this one perfect. The Dove and I totally enjoy going there with friends or family. So many great restaurants and shops. Great Job!!!

Beautiful town center style outdoor mall with lots of upscale dining options We stayed at the Hyatt hotel over there, and had sushi for dinner. Really enjoyed strolling the park at night. They had outdoor seating and there was a stage setup. They must have open air performances.

Larbi M — Google review

Station Park is a mix of restaurants and shopping in an open air mall setup. Parking is best on the sides and just walk the interior. There are also some restaurants and shopping around the main mall area. Stores are fairly good and restaurants vary but they are usually good. My wife likes most of the stores for clothing and I like some of the outskirts stores. Parking is usually not bad and it can get crowded some days. A fun place to visit and the park with fountain is fun and they do displays that change with seasons as well.

Andrew H — Google review

Wonderful place to visit and have a lazy day enjoying the weather, shopping and people around you. The toy store and candy store are always fun to visit.

We love visiting station park! The fountains are fun, food is great and it’s always a fun experience with our without kids!

Majeela M — Google review

Love this mall and the whole atmosphere. Plenty of places to shop, dine and even hangout towards the south end with a pond, ice rink (winter months) and and outdoor play area. My kids love it and it's always super clean.

Evan P — Google review

Wonderful shopping mall. Upscale stores and plenty of options to choose from. Traveling around the area and stopped in to do a bit of shopping! Super clean, well organized and even some history to learn!

Jesse L — Google review

This is such a nice place to shop! A wide variety of stores and restaurants for all of your needs. Head to their website for a full list. The train, trolley and bus stops are on-site for easy access. There's even a Hyatt hotel for you to stay at if you wear yourself out shopping all day. :) There are plenty of periphery shops across the street, and just on the other side of the freeway is the Lagoon Amusem*nt Park! So much to do in this area. It would be easy to spend several days exploring. Head to Farmington and stay awhile!

Helen C — Google review

This is a great place to spend time with your family and friends. Lots of shops, cinema, restaurants etc

Ivan S — Google review

There are a few things we love about Station Park and a few things we don't like as much. Build a Bear and the IT'SUGAR candy store are the perfect places for our traditional grandparent date when each of our 10 grandchildren turn 5. We love the Cinemark movie theater too. There are plenty of great places to eat. We love Tacanos. Most of our favorites are off the main campus. Ramen Haus is top notch. Santorini's is so fresh and full of flavor. And there's all our favorites, Zupas, Habit Burger, and so many more. In the summer it's fun to watch the fountain and in the winter there's ice skating. My main complaints with Station Park is how expensive most of the resteraunts and shops are. It's a very busy place and parking can be a challenge.

Dana P — Google review

I have lived in Utah for a few years now and this is my favorite mall by far. It is exceptionally well kept with a great variety of stores including a few places to eat. There are also additional stores directly outside of the mall. I love world market - they have the most beautiful home decor. The candy shop in the mall is very fun and the H&M is great! I love to walk around the mall and windows shop. They have a nice fountain and play park in the center of the mall too. Everything you could ask for and more for a mall.

Laura J — Google review

Station Park is a great place to shop. I'm not really big on shopping myself, but I do like the wide variety and selection they offer as far as shopping, eating and entertainment in general. They have something to offer for everyone.

Hayley W — Google review

Fun little outdoor mall spot with some great restaurants and outlet style shopping. It's a great mix of retail, cinema and food options.

Erik S — Google review

Station park has good shopping and restaurants with some entertainment thrown in the mix. Be aware that most of the shops are fairly expensive in the inner mall. (Anything for a lower price is often on the outer edges of the mall.) They have good options for food, both fancy and quick bites, with a pleasant ambience of fountains and lights. Be aware if you want to take photos for an event here though you’ll need a permit or you may be kicked out.

Amusem*nt park

Water & Amusem*nt Parks

Theme Parks

Lagoon Amusem*nt Park is a seasonal park that provides visitors with thrilling rides and live shows. In addition to the amusem*nt park, there is also a pioneer village and camping available. The park's theming is not the best due to its focus on providing exciting thrill rides for visitors. Prices are somewhat expensive but manageable.

It was very fun. Lines were short but took longer due to most rides (particularly roller coasters) having only one car going. We had done the South end's coasters first, leading up in intensity to eventually do Cannibal and the more intense rides at the North end of the park. There were visual staffing shortages and a lot of teenage employees. Food prices were okay for an amusem*nt park, ranging from 5 to about 15 dollars. It does become very crowded in the Midway area with people stopping to stand in the middle of the walkway and you were always bumping into other people. Rides were great and entertaining with different levels of thrill ranging from kid rides to very intense rides. Since this is more of a family park, avoiding Kiddieland is very good, avoiding longer lines and a lot of little children. Overall a very great experience, and since I have a season passport I get to go almost every weekend.

Remington S — Google review

Lagoon is a fun place. Lots of rides. It was a hot day but with the water spraying area at the front of the park we cooled right off. They have huge amounts of full grown, beautiful trees to give shade. We went during the week so lines were small. The staff are great! My only concern is the pricing, it is steep. They have added really neat areas and have plans for more that look amazing!!! Hopefully they can figure out some better pricing for everyone. Definitely worth supporting our local theme park! Still a less than going to Disney, but also a smaller scale. Great pools, fun pioneer village, awesome water rides, and of course amazing roller coasters. If you haven't been here try to make it. If it's been years you will be delighted by the new arrivals.

Deborah W — Google review

Love lagoon. I love that they have shade almost anywhere you got. I have to say the kid Luke at hang time was so happy and friendly, I loved watching him interact with all the kids. I love that you can bring food in or purchase it. Great place to come with family, friends, or on a date.

Tiffany P — Google review

They've really updated the kids area and rides and is just as fun as when I was a kid. Love that they let moms work for season passes as well! Makes the rides go more quickly and smooth too.

Stephanie B — Google review

We came to Lagoon to attend a company party. It was so amazing. They have rides that accommodate everyone! We had various ages from 0-80 I would say. They all had such a blast. There are some water rides for when you get hot, they have a sky lift type ride that will take you from one side of the park to the other. They have rides for the little ones that will keep them going for hours! The staff is friendly and helpful. The food that was served was good and the rides were well maintained and clean. They have it where those with disabilities can get on rides first, but the lines weren't too long which was nice. My only complaint is the parking is expensive, and they don't have enough attendants at closing to direct traffic so everyone can get out safely. We didn't really buy snacks or gifts so I couldn't tell you how much things cost, but I'm sure they are as expected. Will definitely come again. It is worth the trip for family fun.

Shayla S — Google review

Would have been 4 stars but there were a few factors. Minimum of 5 rides broke down/stalled while we were in line for them. Must have been our lot that day or something, but we would wait for 15-20 minutes to see if they would fix it but end up leaving. These rides are getting so old. Other than that, other rides were great.I'd highly suggest to bring a cooler and sandwiches as it's going to taste WAY better than anything that is offered there. I had minimal time to plan so we decided to just eat there. BIG mistake. Spent $10 for each order and I felt like I was back in high school with the quality of the pizza, hamburger and chicken. Lunch and dinner spent about $60 for 2 adults and children. We spent about $300+ for the 3 of us. If you go twice or more, I'd suggest their season pass. I think their 1 time ticket is a bit more expensive than I think it's worth. But it I'd what it is. 🤷

Joel T — Google review

Lagoon Amusem*nt Park has held its place as an enduring American classic since the late 1800s. The park triumphantly endured a destructive fire in the 1950s and underwent a remarkable metamorphosis, emerging as an expansive attraction that stands on par with esteemed counterparts like Seven Peaks and other renowned amusem*nt parks. With a plethora of rides that can easily fill your entire day with excitement, and come Fall, they host Frightmares, a captivating Halloween-themed spectacle. Lagoon undeniably claims the title of the most enjoyable amusem*nt park for a considerable stretch of miles.

Morpheus X — Google review

Oof Lagoon - it has my begrudging respect, but it's really way too expensive for what it is. If at all possible, try to buy it as part of a bundle, or what it's really geared for - a season pass for local families. I'd be much more charmed by it if it weren't so expensive! As it is, I really didn't think it was worth it until I rode Cannibal at the end of the day, and that's a properly good ride.I also really like Colossus, and love that they have two proper haunted houses. They also have dedicated single rider lines for Wicked and Cannibal, which work really well! Make sure you ask if it's chained off. There are two shows - a magician and an Alice in Wonderland pop music show, and both were better than they had any right to be! And the whole pioneer village area is very unique and quiet. But on the whole - the park is geared towards families, not the biggest thrills. It's trying to be a big park, but acting like a small one - with smeary hand stamps, tickets per ride, short queue lines - it just can't handle big crowds. And on a Thursday, I barely had to wait for anything, not even Cannibal.

Sara W — Google review

I absolutely love coming here with my husband. We don't have any kids, but we still have fun. Just went to frightmares and paid extra to see the show Seance, and that was so crazy and cool! We also got to ride the new ride primordial. We waited in line for 2 hours. It was worth the wait! Never experienced anything like it and absolutely had a blast. We bought some items in their gift shop.

Leanne S — Google review

Great park, lots of fun rides. The kids area is almost entirely shaded. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks in which is a rarity these days. We drive in from out of town multiple times a year to enjoy some family fun!Fairly short waits for most rides.

Remfleg D — Google review

I've been to many different theme parks around the country. Lagoon stands out to me because of their operations. They are very quick at keeping lines moving. I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff. My main complaint is the queue lines. There is hardly any queue space, and the lines constantly spill out onto the midway. They have a world class coaster with Cannibal and many other amazing attractions. It is a very family-friendly park. I was impressed with my visits this summer, and I can't wait to return.

Carl T — Google review

I had a lot of fun here! I arrived around 1 and stayed until 9 and still rode most of the coasters. The park wasn't too crowded until the evening time. The rides were thrilling and exciting.Word of warning: this is an amusem*nt park, not a theme park. The theming is not the best here, because this park is meant for exciting thrill rides.Prices were okay, but still a bit on the expensive side.Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would come here again for just a select few rides. Especially to ride Cannibal a couple more times! If you're a thrill-seaker, this is a must-ride! The initial 105 degree drop produces an unreal feeling I had never felt up to the point of this ride.

Michael B — Google review

Very very fun! Love the rides, the lines weren't too long. They moved at a very efficient pace. Food was pretty good, a little pricey but that's common everywhere nowadays. All in all, had q really fun day here

Heather — Google review

Expensive but plan to spend the entire day here. Tons of ride options and even have a little kid area. Pioneer Village has the popular Rattlesnake Rapids ride (you will get wet!) as well as old buildings to walk around with informational plaques about the history. Ice cream here is fantastic. Lots of eateries everywhere and carnival games to play.

Angela N — Google review

Had a blast! The lines were not to long, I think the longest I waited was about 30 mins which isn't bad honestly. The park was clean, the food was good. The beaver tails were delicious. Cannibal, Wicked, and Colossus were my favorite rides to go on.

Elyse J — Google review

We love going to Lagoon each year and always get a season pass. We enjoy that they continue to bring new and innovative rides to the park. We had the opportunity to ride the new Primordial ride yesterday and it’s a fun experience. Something very unique and not found anywhere else. We are excited to ride it again and again.

Danielle N — Google review

I've always loved going to Lagoon! It's been the highlight of my summers growing up, and now my own kids feel the excitement. We haven't been when the water park was open since i was probably 12 (in 30's now) I'm hoping to make it again this summer. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because of the wait to get on any of the rides. I know there's only so much a theme park can do about the wait times, but man, I wish the lines weren't 2+ hours at times. Like I mentioned before, we've been going at the beginning of the season, which could have a play in the wait/ridiculous amount of people, but I'm sure it is crammed full of people no matter the time of year. Do theme parks ever set a capacity? Sounds crazy I know, but it's hard to "get your money worth" when the majority of your time is waiting in a line. I LOVE that they let you bring in coolers too. We love having a lagoon picnic at our set up camp.If we weren't 6 hrs away, a season pass would be a given. That's the way to do it for sure. This trip we happened to be in SLC and heard the opening day was while we were here, so absolutely we went! Lines weren't too bad (except the new ride of course 😉) and a storm came through so very few of us stayed and at that point, NO LINES! Except we were wet and Freezing 🥶 WORTH IT 😁

Aleschia H — Google review

I had so much fun on my recent lagoon trip!! We went for our day date before prom and it was the funnest day date yet! The rides never disappoint! The only reason I gave 4 stars is it’s a little pricey.

Sofie T — Google review

Lagoon is a really fun amusem*nt park for young kids and teens plus adults let me just say i went on flying aces 6 times and I am dizzy now🤣 but rattlesnake rapids is the place to go if you need to cool down and mouse trap hurts🤣 I'm definitely going back really soon😁😁

Jana — Google review

Lagoon is such a fun place to go and ride rides for all ages! We went on a day that wasn’t really busy, but we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to ride their new ride they have. The price per ticket was a little bit expensive for what we got out of it.

I visited Lagoon on the opening day of its 2024 season. The park was busy, but most notably the staff felt well trained, friendly, and ready to go for its first day of operation. Cannibal and Primordial are must dos, and the park offers “old school” rides that really set it apart. We had lunch at the Biergarten which offered great food and a large selection of drinks. I look forward to someday returning to this unique amusem*nt park.

first time being here after leaving across the highway for four years. the new primordial ride is a unique and thrilling ride I've never been on. It's a combo of a roller coaster, interactive, and unpredictable ride. It's a must but damn, we were almost in line for two hours! this was on a Saturday... It's fun, it's cool, and it's crowded. Be prepared, come early, & a pro tip: bring something to do while you wait in line like trivia cards or the flip up phone game.

Saovada P — Google review

Frightmares is the best time to go to Lagoon. We had a blast in the haunted houses we went through (5 out of 8) and absolutely loved the SEANCE and Lore live performances. SEANCE was worth the extra money - such a great experience - and Larson, Ryan, and Curtis went out of their way to accommodate the wheelchair user in our group. I noticed many people among the staff paying special attention and care to our ADA needs throughout the park, and I was very impressed and thankful. It's been a few years since I've been to Lagoon, and it remains my favorite amusem*nt park. I can't wait to come back next year!

Kylie H — Google review

The tickets are $100ea. and $25 for a fast pass to the Haunted houses (Which I did not go into because the lines are a nightmare). Besides the price Frightmares 2023 was fun.

Angelica P — Google review

I love this amusem*nt park. There is something for everyone. It gets better every year. It has been open since 1886! That’s 10 years before Utah was even a state! I’ve been enjoying this park since about 1984 as a very young child and have always had a great time. I’ve gone through different friendships throughout those years but cherish all the memories I’ve had with my friends that have come and gone in that time. The prices at the park have really gone up, which is really the only bad thing I could say about the park. I don’t think they need to add a new ride every single year. People will keep coming back regardless. I do recommend this place, but no one really needs my recommendation. People from surrounding states even come here because there are no other amusem*nt parks nearby for hundreds of miles.

Antelope Island State Park is the largest island in the Great Salt Lake and boasts of white-sand beaches, migratory birds, and a herd of American bison. Visitors can take a peaceful walk through its wilderness to spot free-roaming bison, mule deer, antelope, bighorn sheep, and a variety of migratory birds feasting on brine shrimp along the shore. The park hosts annual wildlife spectacles like the November buffalo roundup for veterinary examinations.

Wow! The views are stunning! Wildlife too -antelopes and bison and abundant bird life! It’s spectacular to see the lake and also the mountains. The beach is vast and can be walked also loads of hiking trails and even a restaurant. Camping in tents and RV’s is also available. Would be a great place for riding bikes. Bring Binoculars to see the diverse birds!

First Time Visiting Antelope Island, Was told at Entrance it was Bug Season, She Sure was not Kidding by the time I hit the first stop, my car was Splattered, and you could hear the bugs. However once I drove farther into the Island the Bugs were not as bad. Still had a great visit, did not see any Antelopes, but saw lots of Bison. Was a very interesting stop on the way home

Tom T — Google review

Beautiful park! Take your time to drive through the island in search for bisons and antelopes. The views are stunning! Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Make sure to check if it’s mosquito season and bring some repellent. There are several trails, with some easy options. Bring plenty of water with you as it can get very hot during the day. The entrance is $20 for the car.

This place is a must see!!!! Amazing views and hikes. Look at this place. The pictures just don’t even do it justice!!!

Tammera L — Google review

We loved it and took photos of bison with a 800mm lens. Its important to remember to give wildlife their space and watch them from a safe distance.

Wserita G — Google review

Went here for sunrise and absolutely fell in love with it. We were lucky to catch the wild bison crossing the road in front of us. Our trip was in late September and the bugs were absolutely atrocious down near the ranch where we watched the sunrise and saw the bison. The bugs weren’t as bad down by the ranch though! wear layers so they won’t bite you and enjoy.

Arielle M — Google review

Spent 3 days camping and worth spending time out here. Buffalo, owls, coyotes, birds, and other wildlife. Visitor center is well done. RV park is spacious, clean and great views. Hiking and biking trails all over.

JAM — Google review

I hadn't been to this park in 6 years, it was so nice to see water towards the end of the entrance! (it was completely dry last time) There were so many bison's too! We saw hundreds with a bunch of babies as well! They crossed right in front of us! Great experience!

Ashley A — Google review

Someone suggested I visit this place when I had time. Had 4 hrs to burn so made it out here and OMG this place is so peaceful and beautiful!Only drove through and walked around Visiter Center and the Ranch but there is sooooo much more to do here! There’s a bunch of hiking/biking trails, camping grounds, horseback riding, and I’m sure a bunch more but 4hrs wasn’t enough!Don’t think I’d go hiking since there’s a possibility you’ll cross a Bisons path. I will definitely come back to horseback ride when I have at least a whole day to spend!$15 to drive your car in.

James A — Google review

So many hiking trails, easy and hard. Not too busy, plenty of places to park.Beautiful views.

Renae S — Google review

We saw the park on YouTube watching a Venture Addicts Destinations Explained video about Salt Lake City. We went there to see the antelope and bison. We didn't see any antelope, but the bison put on a show. We saw one bison at first, then a small group, but eventually drove into several herds of them. Some just casually crossing the road in front and behind our vehicle. We also got several good views of the lake, what's left of it. I was kind of sad to see how much the Great Salt Lake shrunk. The YouTube video did mention the odor and number of flies on the island. The odor wasn’t that bad, but the flies (aka no-see-ums/midges) were an issue. Returning to the city after sunset was a problem. There were so many of them on the causeway that our car and windshield were covered with them. Luckily there was a gas station after you exit the causeway where we could clean our windshield. I still recommend going there to see the bison and lake. The sunset views were from Buffalo Point were amazing.

The M — Google review

Absolutely beautiful views! Sure to have a bison sighting. We went twice and saw hundreds each time.

Shelly I — Google review

I visited this place in August month. Entrance fee is 15$ for each car. There are few trails and a beach inside. Dogs are not permitted to beach. There is a visitor center inside. It has some information about the wildlife around salt lake. People who are interested in wildlife photography, this is a must place to try it out. Various number of species fly/migrate here. Watch out for those bisons on road they are almost everywhere in the park.

Abhi — Google review

Really great place to visit, just a short distance from the bustle of salt lake city is a wildlife and nature reserve on the shore of the shimmering great salt lake. Lots of buffalo, not that many antelope!

Nick M — Google review

Antelope island feels like it could be a planet from the movie, Interstellar. Got lucky on my first visit here, saw an antelope, hundreds of bison 🦬, and 2 coyotes. Spectacular views a top Buffalo Point trail. $15 to get in.

Myra B — Google review

Absolutely amazing place to explore when visiting SLC or Park City. Not far from either place and a really beautiful destination. A mindful reminder of how amazing nature is. The visitors center has great information. The free roaming bison are so cool! And the landscape will not disappoint. A great place to see the salt lake and learn a bit more of what natural beauties UT has to offer. $15 entry fee per car. Lots to explore around we only had a few hours but could have probably been there for an entire day plus!

Rebecca L — Google review

Highly highly recommend visiting!! This was some of the most beautiful and diverse terrain all in one location. We travelled with our 3 dogs so didn’t do a lot of the hiking trails but still were able to see plenty of buffalo and sights! So much fun. Only disappointed that there are seasonal road closures 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nikita N — Google review

Antelope Island is great in the fall, winter, and spring! Summer has a lot of bugs, but the trails are fun to ride and you'll sometimes see bison, deer, and big horn sheep.

Skyller W — Google review

Cool Utah state park with a cafe that serves bison burgers. Also plenty of camping, hiking, & biking options. Horseback riding is also available but refer to website for complete details. Don’t pet the bison!

Isai G — Google review

It’s a great day trip with great views. The visitors center has lots of great information on the wildlife, plants, and good walks/hikes to go on. Be prepared for lots of bugs and insects.

Bethany C — Google review

Beautiful views of the mountain and beach area. Got to see the Buffalo but not any Antelope. I don't think we went high enough into the mountains. Checked out the ranch but there was no guide to explain any of the things we were seeing. The mosquitoes were off the chain! Had to use the outhouse style bathroom and although it was clean, mosquitoes tore my buttocks up. Lol. Hiking trail near bathroom wasn't difficult but that walk to the beachfront was something else. Sand gnats everywhere. They didn't bite though. Bar & Grill on beach was closed the day we went. Took us a little over an hour to get there from Salt Lake City. There is a fee per car but only $15. You drive most trails but they did have a few walking. You can also camp there in RVs or tents.

The Hill Aerospace Museum is a free attraction that showcases various planes, missiles, and aerospace gear while educating visitors on the history of the Air Force. It offers clean facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a gift shop. Although visiting hours are limited until 4:00 pm, it's an excellent place to take boys and learn from veterans who work there. The museum requires masks for visitors' safety but provides an enjoyable experience overall.

What a wonderful way to honor our history! Parking and entrance is free! Clean facilities. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Visiting hours are only until 4:00 pm. They also have a gift shop inside. It was not crowded. You just have to deal with the mask Nazis.

Must see! The Hill Aerospace Museum offers a vast array of all things aerospace plus. From a model of the first working airplane to more modern aircraft, munitions, personal stories of the brave men and women who have fought for our country, detailed display information, a co*ckpit tour and many larger aircraft that surround the museum. A huge thank you to the many wonderful volunteers for their service to our country and their help in making our experience greater! They can answer your questions, direct you to whatever your looking for, point out hidden gems, offer personal stories, insight and info on current and future features. I took 3 boys aged 5-7 and it kept their attention for over two hours. Entry is free but donations are encouraged throughout the museum with convenient donations boxes. We will return to learn more about our countries past through this thoughtful and beautifully curated museum.

Candice — Google review

This place is huge and they have a lot of planes and exhibits. We were told they just opened a new wing. The admission is free but making a cash donation to help with operating costs is highly appreciated. The museum is well maintained with helpful staff.

Abigail A — Google review

This place is incredible! You only get a little glimpse of it from the freeway, but the second you enter, you realize this place is way cooler than you expected! First, they have an SR-71 inside this place! The first stealth plane that flew at 80,000 and could take photographs while flying at mach 3! SUPER COOL!!Next, they have literally hundreds of things to look at including F-16s, an A-10, missiles, bombs, literally, more than 50 full size fighter jets, airplanes, helicopters, and more. You could spend hours here and it only feels like minutes! Plus, they are continuing to develop "Experiences" that let you go inside airplanes, missile silos (replace scaled down) and more. It's just amazing what they have here.

Marc S — Google review

I was beyond impressed with this museum.I know good aerospace museums that would easily charge $30+ for tickets to see these kinds of aircraft. I was extremely surprised to see that admission was free and there were way more aircraft than I had expected. For the average citizen, they might not realize how great this place is unfortunately. The only one I've been to that tops it is the Smithsonian in DC, and well, they are hard to beat. Great job.Overall it is an amazing museum. Will be back again.

Alex L — Google review

Incredible! So many airplanes. I could've spent all day here and then some. Went while visiting Salt Lake City and was well worth the visit. Outdoor area with larger planes and two large indoor museum spaces. Helpful staff, as well.

This museum was really amazing and a must if your in the area. Also call ahead for someone to do a tour with you I recommend asking for Kenneth he was wonderful to my family and myself. We didn’t know about the tours but gave us a little history for the time he had before he started a tour with another family and/or school.I will put some of the pictures that I was able to take and share. It was free to go in but do recommend giving a donation because the up keep as well as seeing these volunteers were well worth it.Thank you to the volunteers staff and the cute gift shop place too. Thank you to our vets who served and lost there life’s serving our country.

Lorraine M — Google review

Very cool museum with a lot to see and read. Wish we would have had more time here! If you’re a fan of planes and aerospace craft, and even if you’re not! It’s free but donations are welcome! Great place for anyone! Awesome place to take kids to!

Great place to take your boys to. The Veterans working there are so sweet and eager to share. 1-2 hours to walk through it all. Cute gift shop. Masks were required.

Eva J — Google review

We loved coming to the museum! They have an outside section with their big airplanes and the older smaller exhibits inside. They have well written signs about the exhibits and volunteers that can also tell you different stories and background on the exhibits. The museum is pretty big and is geared more towards school kids and adults. I would bring a stroller for young kids since there is a good amount of walking. They do have a flight simulation that you can reserve for school aged kids and a C-130 you can go inside. We will definitely be back after the construction and addition of new exhibits!

Tiana F — Google review

A truly amazing museum. The amount of history here is stunning. They have an abundance of jet planes - everything from fighter jets such as the F-15 and F-16, reconnaissance planes such as the SR-71, bombers and transportation planes, and so much more. The planes come from multiple generations, so you will can see an F-4 and a more modern unmanned drone. You can also see weapons, sit in a stationary cargo plane, see exhibits of military uniforms and equipment, and there are tons of areas that talk about women in the military, POWs from the Vietnam War, and more. The museum is free but encourages donations. We left a donation and bought some from the shop to show our support. Even the gift shop has a great selection. We took a close friend who is an Air Force veteran. Thanks for such a great experience and we will be sure to come again!

Travis C — Google review

The museum has a pretty impressive display of planes and ICBMs. Staff are super friendly and most have worked on airplanes previously so they can provide a lot of insight. The museum is very accessible for wheelchair users, those with mobility impairments, and those with service dogs. Fair amount of walking inside and outside to see the display of planes. Well worth the trip out to see them.

Susan H — Google review

Such an awesome, historic experience! Got to go with my grandfather, who enjoyed every second of it. Between him and the random volunteers walking around I got to learn a lot, and he got to talk to people that understood fully his stories from his days in the Navy. Thank you for this experience.

An amazing exhibition with civil and military aircraft of all kinds.A large part of the exhibits are covered in a climatized hanger. The bigger ones are outside. You get a feel of the Cold War when you see the size of B52 and other bombers. Also, some good history panels re Korea and Vietnam warIt is easy to spend 2-3 hours here, and entrance is free

I was visiting Hill in November of 2023 and always make it a point to check out the Air Museums whenever I’m visiting a base thats new to me. Its not very far from the base at all, it wasn’t crowded at all either and every single person we came in contact with was so friendly and welcoming and just happy to have visitors and to educate about all of the different types of aircraft, they really are lovely. Thank you for being so kind and for the wonderful conversations too!I had fabulous conversations with a few men working there in different areas, I happened to be wearing my U2 Dragonlady sweater and they were so excited to find someone that knew what that plane was lol it was great and we had fun sharing stories from their past and my present life as an Air Force spouse and telling them all about my husband who works with the U2.The museum was very clean, laid out well and looked like they will be expanding soon and opening another hanger. I was sad that the Fighters weren’t being shown at the time, but I hope to see them one day. Thanks for making my visit a memorable one, I’d definitely come back again!

Mitsue W — Google review

What a fantastic aerospace museum local to Davis county at Hill AFB!It was recently shut down for a few short weeks (23 October - 3 November) for some expansion/rearrangement but is back open to the public, albeit with more work in progress with the L.S. Skaggs 'wing' still under construction (as I post this on 4-Nov-2023).As such, a few of the aircraft are not currently viewable (the SR-71, for example).Otherwise, it was a bright and cheery day today at the museum and look forward to getting back there soon to check out the expansion when it's done!

P B — Google review

This museum is huge! There are displays outside around the grounds as well as inside the building. This makes it easy to go year round. There are a few different galleries, but the current construction closed down one area. We'll definitely have to go back to see their new displays as well as what we missed this time around.

Laura J — Google review

This museum has an excellent selection of stunning military aircraft. From the early days of flight, to modern service jets, there's something for you to love. Most planes have an exhibit that goes over details of the aircraft and it's history. There is plenty of parking, though it was fairly packed when I visited.

Ryan W — Google review

It's great. The biggies are here. B-29, B-17, B-52, F-22, P-51, MIG-21, P-38 and the list goes on. Easily walkable. The expansion is complete and the new hangar is open. Only a few large planes remain outside. Free admission but well worth a donation.

Best Military Aviation museum I have visited In US. Its collection was well thought out and comprehensive of obvious military aircraft from important eras in Aviation history. As well as including a significant number of often forgotten important aircraft such cargo and reconnaissance planes which are often not on display or recognised properly in other museums.

2002 Winter Olympics site offering classic ski-resort activities & year-round events since 1936.

Pretty sweet spot. We lucked out and had some of the only fresh powder they’ve seen in a few weeks. So our experience was pretty good.Visibility was a little tough at the time towards the top.I think most runs are ski dominate. But Main Street with minimal traffic was a snowboarders dream. Not remotely a pro, or heavily experienced. But the run was well managed and wide open. Clocked us doing about 40 down through there.Wait times were never longer than maybe 5 minutes, even during the busiest part of the day on a Saturday after a snow dump on Thursday night. Not the largest park. But well managed, quality staff and well groomed runs. Highly recommend if you can get in here with fresh powder.

Randy — Google review

Great fall hike! Taking the gondola up! It was fun but a little pricey to get to the top but spectacular views!

Kevin S — Google review

Snowbasin was great. Lots of terrain to ski, powder stashes here and there, especially if you hike a little. The groomers were in good shape and skied fast, too. The added gondolas and trams from 2002 Olympics are great.

If you want great skiing, Snowbasin is where you should go! They take great care of their runs by grooming them regularly. Middle Bowl lift was replaced in the 2021 off season. It’s a 5 minute ride to the top!I had so much fun my last couple of visits! I look forward to going again soon.

Great mountain. Wish we caught it on a powder day. But we did get a blue bird day. The lodge area is really nice. First time at the mountain so there was a lot of traversing to get around and explore. There is a good amount of parking available. Didn’t fill up and we got there around 10:30 but it was a weekday. Recommend going to the top and taking the tram. Great views up there.

Abigail A — Google review

Awesome slopes, nice views and decently priced lift tickets $215/day vs $300 at Park City. Snow was good and you can find slopes for every skill level. Definitely coming back.

Superb...Fantastic experience. Very Organized. They had all kinds of Ski Slopes. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. 9000 feet high mountain slopes. Ski lifts or closed Gondolas to carry you up the mountain. The Resort is very popular amongst the locals. They have trained instructors. Huge gift shops with lot of items. Huge eatery, Seperate building for rentals. We took a whole day package deal along with Ski lessons and was at a good price. It is about 1 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Ample parking. Lot of warm places to sit with family and enjoy lunch. We loved it as family and would highly recommend the same to other families / Adults.

A place for the books! We came for the Blues, Brews and BBQ event a few weeks back and loved everything about our day trip! The scenery is gorgeous, they have many different hike/bike trails, mini-golf, good beer, a nice restaurant at the top of the mountain, a gondola ride and to top it off... it's a dog friendly venue!!

Jenasea M — Google review

Pretty close proximity to Salt Lake City and has a local, homey feel that is wonderfully run from the seemingly dozens of parking guests to the wonderful restaurant staff. The lodges were extremely nice and almost felt like a nice country club. We went there on a Saturday jn mid march and it was not crowded with no lift lines longer than 5 min. It is on the smaller side with only few chairlifts, one gondola, and a very short tram mostly serving a hike along a very steep and rocky ridge with various chutes to go down. Mountain consists of a fair share of blues and greens with some blacks mixed in. There were some good tree runs with pretty good snow even a couple days after it actually showed. It seemed most skiers of the mountain were not very good and stuck to groomers or easy runs. There are a lot of chutes that can be hiked too and feed down to the main top area of the mountain. There is a very short hike to the top of one of the peaks that has amazing panoramic views of the spectacular rocky tops of the mountain along with the salt lake and surrounding flat areas with mountain rising up in the distance. All around good family mountain with some steeper stuff and a small feel. Definitely worth it especially on weekends where more mainstream mountains in the area are packed.

The mountain was absolutely fantastic with a ton a varied terrain. Our group had all skill levels from beginner to advanced and everyone was able to find a spot on the mountain to enjoy. The glades past strawberry were incredible. The lodge was very, very nice with bathrooms located right next to the lift so you don’t have to trudge inside. The line to park was long but I did enjoy not having to make a reservation. We arrived at 10:30 and there was plenty of parking space left. The only improvement would be to upgrade the pass scanners so you don’t have to take the pass out of your jacket every time.

Reid T — Google review

The mountain is wonderful, and even despite this winter being pretty lousy, almost everything is open. The snowmaking machines are always working, keeping the slopes snowy, rather than rocky. We had an amazing experience at this resort.

Evgeniya ( — Google review

It was our first time skiing in Snowbasin and we went Thursday & Friday last week. We have the Ikonpass and we wanted to ski a new resort. It snowed on Thursday and it was cold. The resort’s lodges were beautiful and comfortable. It was nice to relax and get back on the lifts again once we warmed up. I appreciate the gondolas. It wasn’t very busy on Thursday, and there were no lift lines. There were more cars/people on Friday. It was a beautiful day. The resort offered shuttles from the parking lot. We were worried that there were going to be long lines. It was only long in the early morning. Snowbasin is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Catherine H — Google review

One of the most beautiful resorts with exceptional runs. The runs are so long and perfectly pitched. Everywhere you go is beauty beyond belief!

Nadine G — Google review

It is a gorgeous ski mountain with break taking views of the mountains. Unfortunately, the parking situation there was a nightmare. They badly need a reservations system for that. Even though their website says most easy to access, it actually took 30 minutes in backed up traffic just to enter into the premises. We also did not like how bumpy the mountain was. There were little to few flat runs. Your only choice was moguls on just about every downhill pathway. If you love the bumps then this is the place to go. We had driven an extra 50 minutes to escape the hustle and bustle of some of the other ski resorts in Utah and were disappointed in the result. If you live in Ogden, I guess this is the best choice, but if coming from elsewhere, not so much. We are not going to rush back here anytime soon.

Greg A — Google review

Spent a week in Utah and hit up snowbird, Brighton, powder Mountain and Snowbasin. Went to snowbasin on a bluebird Monday and all I can say is WOW! Great views, mountain was 100% open, lodges were immaculate, bathrooms were the finest I’ve ever been to, food was extremely expensive, staff was wonderful, lift tickets were priced reasonably, selection in gift shop was great. This was both our favorite mountain and we’ll definitely be back! Cheers!

Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah is a vibrant destination offering a mix of local dining, shopping, and entertainment. This historic district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been revitalized by passionate locals and now features colorful murals from local artists and numerous art studios at The Monarch. Visitors can enjoy diverse dining options ranging from high-class restaurants to old-time bars.

I went there with my father to take photos and have a drink a grounds for coffee. It's very scenic and historic. It's lovely at night with the lights! I wish we had more time to hang out in ground's for coffee or go to one of the restaurants.

Cool vibe in a not too yuppie or pretentious way. A bit wild with college boys some weekends. Great for patio beers and bloody Mary’s in the summer.

Marty M — Google review

A nice place for a walk with plenty of food and cool signs.

David C — Google review

I love learning about the history and stories of the old buildings, signs and store fronts.

🚏Ogden’s Historic 25th Street is one of the most beautifully quaint, well-preserved streets I’ve frequented - the loveliest in the state of Utah, in the case of historic streets. Since moving to Ogden in early 2014, I’ve witnessed a dramatic and progressive shift towards preservation and livening up this area. Currently, there is a thriving art district which surrounds 25th, along with the new adjacent electric bus system, Main Depot, being completed this year (2023). We are currently experiencing a population boom while at matters are looking up for Ogden in terms of small businesses, family-friendly affairs, and the art scene. Much can be said about Utah’s hidden gem, the City of Ogden.🌆🌃

Alexander C — Google review

It has seen better days. Many stores were unoccupied and only very few restaurants were open on a Sunday afternoon. The buildings were in decent condition, but not very interesting. Several share e-scooters were left in the middle of the sidewalk making quite an eyesore. There was only one homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk along with a couple of drunks, so that wasn’t too bad. If the museum across the street was open, then it maybe worth a while just to stroll down the street, otherwise it’s probably not worth your time. On the plus side, free parking spaces were abundant as hardly any tourist were in the area.

Big C — Google review

"Don’t come to Ogden without making time for Historic 25 Street." The street is very interesting with a wide variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, art galleries. However, there are some homeless people on this street begging for money.

Toan-Van N — Google review

25th Street is for every kind of people. From high class restaurants to old time bars where you are guaranteed a memorable evening of fun, risk, danger and more...

Gary ( — Google review

Fun place to shop, walk, and explore. I saw a car show along the street with beautiful, classic and new cars.

Marv B — Google review

Amazing setting, but overall very rundown. There are a few gems worth visiting, but you'll likely spend less time exploring than expected. Picture is from the station looking towards the mountains!

The Ogden Union Station is a historical 1920s train station that has been converted into an indoor marketplace, complete with museums, art galleries, and eateries. This magnificent building still retains its former beauty and charm despite showing signs of wear and tear. The Ogden City Arts Department has taken over stewardship of the station to ensure it receives the care it deserves.

Oh man, we love this place so much. What a great museum. My boys are obsessed with the little train models that go around the different tracks. My only negative about this place is that the one man that is often in the Browning gun portion is really not super patient with kids. I want my kids to go to museums and think learning is fun, so I want it to be a positive experience. He hasn’t ever gotten after my kids, but I’ve heard him bark at other kids several times before for doing normal kid things, like asking him a question while he was finishing up a sentence. That type of thing does not fly with that man. And no, kids shouldn’t do that, but they are still learning and I think they could be given some grace. It’s not like they blurted out something irrelevant while he was talking, they were listening to him and learning and interested. Anyway, everything else is great. That dude stresses me out.

Rachael A — Google review

Train show was decent this year. Would have liked a few more child friendly activities. We braved the snow to be there and we were done in a hour. There was really only one thing they enjoyed. I understand limited space. But it want as good as other years we've attended.

Christi C — Google review

Fun place to visit to learn about the history of locomotives 🚂 in Ogden. There is a train exhibit outside that is supper cool- lately the museum has provided entrance to 2 train cars (the military hospital transit and USPS mail carrier). It’s neat to see how life was no too long ago. Great place for kids to explore, and awesome for family photos, particularly during sunset.

Alexander C — Google review

I love this venue! Absolutely perfect for every event but they went above and beyond to help us pull off a very magical company party, owls and all!

Majeela L — Google review

Great place to visit. Highly recommend. It’s cool to see the old station and trains. Admission also includes entry into an old classic car and gun section. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Abigail A — Google review

I've always loved this building, and that hasn't changed with the years that have gone by since I've last been in the doors. (Almost 30 years). It's a little rougher around the edges, but thankfully Ogden city arts department is moving in and will most definitely provide the care this place deserves. It's rich with history, and beautiful to boot. Anyone in the Ogden area is missing out if they don't stop by

Lisa A — Google review

Such a cool museum! It is an old.trsi. station that now houses 3 collection museums. The train museum is the largest and super informative and interesting. The Browning gun section is also extensive. The Browning family has a large and beautiful collection of early model cars. Volunteers were so helpful and friendly.

Cathy J — Google review

They really do a good job of keeping this place in great shape. It is a pleasure to visit here. Only one thing. You can't see the inside of the trains until warm weather, or May, they say, so be advised. You can see a lot of history in three museums, The Railway museum, The Browning Arms Museum, and the Classic Cars. All for 7 dollars while supporting a great effort to preserve these fantastic historical items.

Herbert H — Google review

Several GREAT museums in a single location! I visited for the Railroad museum, but enjoyed the others as well. They have several very special Locomotives, my favorites being the DDA40X (2 Desiel engines on 1 frame) & the X26 Steam Turbine Locomotive. Both experimental, from the 1950's & 60's & UP was the only Railroad to run either.

Jim H — Google review

Great museum sharing the importance of railroading history in northern Utah. The indoor exhibits had great interpretive information, as well as displays of early twentieth century automobiles and historic firearms. There was also a farmers market going on with all sorts of fun goodies. The locomotives just outside were impressive! Would recommend this museum for a family outing.

Jonathan F — Google review

We had a great time here. Price is low. Lots of things to look at. There is a great area for kids to touch and move levers. Play with train stuff. There are 5 museums in one place here. Art, Gun, trains, great place

Sam N — Google review

Really very interesting. Some good displays lots of awesome information and a good few hours spent looking around the trains.

Paul W — Google review

This place is a hidden gem especially for anyone interested in getting up close to real trains. The museum showcases the stations history and a vintage car museum as well. The annual model train show is a fun to visit as well. They fill up the entire station with various train models.

Joel B — Google review

It was very reasonably priced. It is a nice little snapshot of history with some really cool thjng s to watch and observe. The massive locomotives are really cool. The building is also very cool and this is a great location to take wedding photos. The train history is very interesting. It’s very quiet and your kids will love it.

Matt S — Google review

Such a great time here.. lots of trains all carefully maintained.. tons for the kids to do.. very impressive

This a cool, historic place to see even if you don't pay for any of the museums

Huge ski area with 154 separate trails, 2 terrain parks & 9 lifts, plus various resort facilities.

A little hard to go skiing for my first time, but once I got the hang of it, it was sooooo fun. Slopes are awesome size and just so fun and diverse. Went during the night and was absolutely amazing.

Wow!! What a gem!!!! Have been coming to Park City area for years and had never made the trek to Powder Mountain- or Pow Mow as the locals call it. It’s a decidedly different experience than the other area hills. Think skiing 20 years ago. Fewer people, they only sell 1500 lift tickets per day. The terrain is great. On one of the busiest days of the year we saw virtually no one. We utilized the free tour guide at 10 am and we’re lucky to have Judi from NH. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and adapting to our group. I am reluctant to share this review because I reluctantly want to keep this special place a secret!! Consider the $25 cat ride to the untouched terrain!!

Drew M — Google review

We came out here for night snowboarding because Brighton closed down due to the dangerous weather, and we're glad we did. Not only was Powder Mountain cheaper, but it wasn't very crowded - so we got a ton of great powder runs in.At night time they only open one lift and a few trails, but they are well lit and quite a lot of fun to shred on.The facilities are in great shape and we had no issues with parking, lift tickets, food, or restrooms during our stay.

Greg E — Google review

Prefer over Park City every time! We live in Florida so only ski 1-2x a year and loved Powder Mountain. First, rentals were great and so easy to get. No line and great service. Staff everywhere was smiling and chatting with us at each left, super friendly and professional. The views and trails were gorgeous, well groomed and they limit how many tickets were sold so we skied ALONE many times down various green and blue trails. Eden has a few decent restaurants but also worth the 25 minute drive to Ogden for 25th street filled with restaurants and bars.

BEST SKI RESORT IN UTAH!!An absolutely incredible resort with some of the best terrain I’ve ever boarded. I had the best powder day I’ve ever had. I was boarding untouched powder the whole day. Due to powder mountains higher elevation they have some of the best snow in Utah. I love how they limit ticket sales so it never gets too crowded. We walked onto almost every lift on a sold out day! I’ve been to almost every resort in Utah and Powder mountain might take the cake as my favorite!

Shout out to the Timberline Lodge and the maintenance crew for providing c l a a a a a s s y as f*rk renovations to the facilities here, and to Chef James Hamilton for breathing life into the menu at Powder Keg and the cafeteria.Very excited to see what Hidden Lake has to offer when it opens. As a (very) biased employee of the commissary kitchen for PowMow, this review is however not a matter of opinion, it's just a fact.Chowder FountainR I I I I I I P S 🤙🏼

Powder mountain is always a great place to visit.Especially when the city is full of smog!It has some breath taking views! There ski school was awesome!

Woods L — Google review

I'm not sure how to give my ultimate review. This place rocks! I never heard of Powder Mountain, but damn!; I have too many good things to say about this resort; their people and our experience. The ski resort is big. We couldn't do it all (maybe 30%) in 2 days. Great trails; very long; incredible views; quick lines (on a weekend); we may be from the East coast, but we've done over a dozen big name resorts and this BY FAR was the best. Most impressive was the staff. As soon as we got there everyone was there to help. Tons of positives to say here, but to suffice it to say I wish all of my staff was as attentive, helpful, thorough, not on their phones and friendly. 5 stars to Powder Mountain! I could go on, and on. At the end of day 1, we met the guy who books music at the Timberline lodge. Wow! Mind-blowing better than expected, crowd tipping $20s, Music was awesome; Friggin' Amazing!, etc. Skiers like to enjoy a great day and that scene at the lodge was just off the rails in a great way! Cutting it short; this mountain has great skiing, great employees and has a great atmosphere. We're already planning next year's visit. Join us!

Powder Mountain has something for everyone, blue cruisers, trees and challenging blacks. I went on a Saturday and didn’t wait for more than 3 minutes at most to get on a lift.

Michael M — Google review

Spent the day with some friends on an all day snow cat skiing adventure yesterday. Our two guides, JT and Becky, were amazing! Had a safety brief in the morning then we were off for a full day of untracked snow, amazing views, and fresh powder. Halfway through the day we had a picnic lunch at a “snow table“ that the guides built for us to eat around. I have done multiple trips like this and this was by far the best one so far will definitely go back and do it again highly highly highly recommend!

Randle L — Google review

This is a fantastic local ski resort if you’re looking for an affordable, beginner-friendly, non-corporate, local feel resort. We came and here and took the first time snowboard school and wow! I have to say we were blown away by the instructor that we had. My wife is terrified of slopes and kept falling repeatedly on the top of the green run and was close to giving up. Our instructor Doug, patiently worked 1x1 with her and all of a sudden, it clicked and she successfully went down the mountain with no issues. She was hype after that and I have to give my sincere thanks to Doug for his steadfast commitment to teaching and working with her. Thank you!

We had an amazing trip in 2023 and are going back March 2024. No waiting in lines and nice off trail runs. Highly recommend

Isaac G — Google review

Went night skiing on 12/29 and it was a great experience. I love that they cap the amount of tickets sold to keep from over-crowding. They had a "magic carpet" lift that my toddler loved, and the runs were varied enough that I enjoyed my time, and my 3 year-old could learn to ski.I also had a great experience with staff. I lost my diaper bag and I had it back in my possession the next afternoon. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Thank you again!

Monique P — Google review

Five stars for the ski area, minus 2 for the pricing and access changes. Powder Mountain describes itself as huge, and it is definitely massive. We visited for two days and barely felt like we saw the place (visibility was also low, so that didn't help), but got in a ton of good runs. Some areas have really deep snow while you can also go on a lot more lightly covered trail runs. Lifts are all pretty slow, but limited lift lines made it not a huge issue (though Hidden Lake lift in sleet is pretty miserable). Had a great time, but unfortunately, we won't be able to visit again. A bunch of reviews mention this already but prices doubled to around $229+ for a lift ticket. This is absolutely absurd for the amenities: a few slow lifts, limited parking, and lodges from the 80s or older. They will also stop accepting Indy Pass next season and are closing part of the mountain to take it private for a luxury housing community. Powder Mountain has decided to close its doors to all but the rich, so while we really enjoyed the snow, we will have to look elsewhere for future ski trips.

Kyle R — Google review

We have been coming here for 15+ years and we love, love, love this mountain. But what happened with lift tickets pricing this year is absolutely horrible! Reed Hastings bought the mountain and is trying to price us regular people out. I just looked at Friday 2/9/2024 - $229 before taxes. For one day! We can drive 15 min to Snowbasin and ski for $40 less. Snowbird and Alta for comparison also $40 less. And next year they are revoking decades long tradition of free skiing for seniors 75+. Have they no shame?!They call it dynamic pricing, but it’s not. Dynamic pricing matches pricing to demand. Here it’s just the opposite: they try to make up the revenue they are missing due to lack of demand, by pricing tickets even higher. To prove my point, here is empty popular lift (Mary’s) on a powder day. That would have never been the case in previous years.🤯

Anna O — Google review

Had a fantastic private lesson as a first time skier with Paul! Worth every penny for the full day session (930-330). I had tried skiing once back in 2011 and it ended after 90mins with me being skied down the bunny slope in tears by one of my friends. That was a scarring enough experience to keep me off the mountain for over a DECADE!I came into my private lesson, which I shared with a friend, with zero hopes/expectation. When my friend mentioned that I'd be going down the actual lift by lunch time, I was highly skeptical, but Paul was so helpful and patient and had both of us on the lift just after lunch, much to my surprise/delight! He explained and demonstrated proper body positioning, angles, movements etc and was just so encouraging! I fell a lot, of course, but by the end of our lesson, I actually was trying a couple of blue routes with him.Powder itself is a really cool spot, a little farther out and was less crowded than Alta which we went to the following day (could be because it was midweek-Thursday- though). It's definitely got a grungy/purist vibe to it, but still a welcoming/inviting atmosphere, and coming from a complete novice, it's a great spot to get started!

Willard Bay State Park

Parks

Reserve with huge freshwater reservoir that offers boating, camping & animal-watching opportunities.

An enjoyable park to stretch our legs while on a long road trip! There was construction on the main entrance which made finding the parking lot a bit of a maze. We visited in late March and there were a few campers in the park. The water was empty and we could watch the birds! There are bathrooms and even vending machines. The park was clean but it did seem that some winter storms had damaged some of the picnic tables and eroded some of the beach. I am sure in the summer the table would be fixed!

We always love the bay. It's so much fun to swim in the summer and the sunsets are 10/10 year round. We ended up taking our engagement photos here. Absolutely love the mix of ice and sunset we had out there today.Whether you are looking to go swimming, boating, or finishing there is a time of year and place for you down on Willard Bay

I visited very spontaneously around Christmas time, seeing the lights from the freeway. It was so fun! The light displays are super cute and it was fun to listen to the radio station that was part of the experience. It's $20/car, so a little pricy for just me and my 2mo old, but super cheap for a carload of people. 😊 You should definitely visit!

Paije B — Google review

This place definitely have beautiful scenery. The mosquitoes are terrible at the non hookup sites close to the water. The sound of a swarm of mosquito sound like a helicopter. Lol . I give a 10 to the mosquito spray I use, because after I sprayed myself even in a swarm of mosquitoes, I didn't get attacked anymore. The park is very well maintained and there is boating activities that you can partake in. My biggest setback was the mosquitoes but still had a good time .

MArk T — Google review

Stayed the weekend at the RV park. Off season so no recreation boaters, just quiet fisherman. No mosquitoes. Some gnatty things by the water but they didn't bug me. Tent campground under construction. Looks like they are building another RV park. Cute area called The Pond that looks new and is super clean. Note, this is right next to the interstate so you hear lots of that all night. There is also apparently an active train track nearby.

Pattie C — Google review

First time ever coming here with my family, we had a wonderful time and considering how expensive other places are to visit this was pretty decent. For $25. You can either spend the afternoon or the night and they have areas for tents as well as trailers for camping. I will say that the mosquitoes and what I thought were mayflies exploded everywhere when the heat came up. So be sure to bring bug spray and supplies. Make sure to fill your propane tanks before coming too The prices in town really aren't that bad but the ones closest to the park are the most expensive. So find a good deal and refill before you come to the bay.

Joshua C — Google review

I am so happy we decided to take a ride through the park to see the Christmas lights display. They did an excellent job with the decorations and I was surprised at the length of time it took to drive through to see everything. We did not have to wait long at all to get through the entrance. Well worth the time to go see!

Catherine B — Google review

Very nice campground with power, water and bathrooms available. It’s reasonably priced at $15 per night or $5 per night for a primitive site. The lake is a little chilly but not too bad. There are two docks and a boat launch.Lots of birds to watch.

Trish C — Google review

Decent sized beach with easy access and room to be social or secluded. Picnic and pavilions and playground were easily accessed and in good repair. Restrooms available, but I didn’t use them so I can’t comment on their upkeep.

Geoff W — Google review

60.00 per night to stay just below the freeway in a site that hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Good electricity and water, but not walkable ro the beach. Sites are a decent size. NO SHOWERS! Staff at main entrance was kind, knowledgeable and good communicators or it would have received a single star..

Lil F — Google review

Love going here. Beautiful to pull over and make dinner or go fishing. The only downside is a lot of bugs so make sure to bring your spray!

Raving R — Google review

Big fan of Willard Bay!! It was my first time, but hopefully not my last.We camped at the south entrance. The campsites were in good condition, you have to pay to reserve the spots. I didn’t like how close together the campsites felt. The bugs were also super terrible around 730-930 pm.The bathrooms were okay. There was one bathroom where the doors were left open and the bugs were disgusting. But another bathroom a little further away was much cleaner. We went on a morning run around the lake which was beautiful, they have a nice trail that goes around it.We packed up and went to the north bay to paddleboard and kayak. It was very crowded. But luckily on the lake it wasn’t too bad. Water was good temperature and all around it was a great experience.

Hailey B — Google review

The two stars is mostly because this campground has so much potential or I would have given even less based on what we experienced here and maybe we were here at a bad time for them. At the time we were here the property was very unkept, grass areas not mowed, trails and parking lots not maintained. Some things in disrepair. However the RV sites are nicely laid out, lots of room between sites, services in good condition. The picnic tables could use a pressure wash but the roofs over them are very nice. Oh and the “you can’t check in till 3pm” or even wait on property till 3 is very unfriendly and unwelcoming, considering it’s quite a large park with lots of room and places to wait (and not busy at the time). We arrived just an hour early (2pm) and were asked to leave and come back later. These are only a few pictures. I hope they get this place up to its full potential because it would be worthy of 5 stars easy!

Rusty E — Google review

Great Lake for a boating day. The sand is more gravel but when you wear shoes it's not that big of a deal. For us the water level was high and you walked past 3 ft of large but soft pebbles and then you hit sand. Both were anchored close to the shore and there was plenty of beach area for large families together. There are a few large trees along the shoreline that provide natural shade. The bathrooms were what you might expect at a gas station. A couple stalls with flushing toilets and soap with running water sinks, but they weren't that clean.Weekends are $30 per car, during the week. It's only $15 per car.Dogs can be there and quite a few were, they're supposed to be leashed but not everyone follows that rule.

We went for the Christmas light show. Well worth it. Much longer than expected and you can tell a lot of people put a lot of time, work, and creativity into making it a great experience.

Nice place. Pretty views of the lake. More pavement than I like in a park, but someone must have found it necessary.bet it used to be a great place to wander in the woods.

Site 230 is very secluded and an easy back in for our 35' 5th Wheel. All the sites were spaced well and close to the trails, launch and beach. Seemed like the landscaping needed some attention, but overall, great camping.
